Not sure why we did not double Embiid and let someone shoot it
 
Tell ya what...next practice...Nurk, Grant, Sharp and Eubanks should spent the ENTIRE practice shooting free throws. We left 10 points at the line tonight and enough in the 4th alone that we had the victory wrapped up. Ridiculous that professionals shoot such a poor percentage from such a short distance. I thought we had this one and by all means, should have....SMH
 
Blazers missed 10 FT's in a 1 point loss. If they just shoot their average, they win by 2

I didn't care at all during the game about Portland's draft pick. When the clock hit zero, I thought "well, at least that's good for the pick"....kind of a win-win silver lining in a pretty dark cloud

Embrace the Nurk!
 
Chauncey was about 3 possessions late in taking Eubanks out and putting Nurk back in late in the 4th. Eubanks didn’t provide any resistance on Embiid and that’s when Philly started their run to close out the game.

it sucks cause we deserved to win this game

philly made a strong run late and nurk will get hate for the missed free throws, but he played a really good game and the last defensive play on embiid was really good, it just that embiid made a tough shot, its what mvps do

In your view, how did Nurk's 4 straight misses from the line affect things? After the 4th brick, the Phili announcer said he could run for mayor.

Phili knew Embiid could get a good look going at Nurk. After shaking him there was nothing tough about that shot. I was just hoping they'd go anywhere else with the inbounds pass.
