Bro nobody ever compare Cj to Simons. He’s nothing compared to CJ McCollum

This got a laugh out of meThere is no requirment around here to be educated on the topic to have a strong opinion.
If you're losing, you are a bad manager, and you must tank. Your effort is horrible, your substitution patterns are awful, and I'd say anyone who knows basketball could do better.
How'd I do?
I don't think age matters as much as seasons in the league.McCollum scored 625 points in 100 total regular season games his first two seasons, and he turned 24 right before his third season.
Simons has scored 1290 points this year (after 988 points last year) and won't turn 24 until the offseason.
Simons is way, way ahead of CJ at the same age and that promises that he can be much, much better over the course of his career (both in terms of total production and peak production). Right now he's probably not as good (although he's outscoring him on a PPG basis) but his future is much brighter.
I think it's pretty interesting... play by play isn't very helpful in a basketball broadcast, IMO, because there are so few players (it's harder, for example, to spot who made a tackle in college football) and given the overall lack of exciting play by the Blazers, at least hearing Det and Petrie tell stories is something interestingThis "Legends Cast" on 1253 featuring Neil Everett, Chris Dudley, Terry Porter, and Antonio Harvey is something...

Gonzaga/TCU game is on.Wow a 2 page game thread and the game is almost over
lol
NBA team definitely prefer younger players due to their upside relative to older players (in terms of where they draft them and, presumably, how much they pay them).I don't think age matters as much as seasons in the league.
And Lillard, Simons, Thybulle and Little, 2 for 21 from 3.That Portland was close for a decent part of the game is quite an accomplishment given that Dame/Ant were 10-32.
Holy Bricklayer Batman!!!
I get the frustration with Jerami. I want to see him back, but not at 30 to 35 mil. Too much chedder for his production. 25 mil. is about max. But the key now is winning that lottery.“I’m ready to run through a wall for [Billups], no matter what." - Jerami Grant
"I'm going to miss a few games while we watch the play-in chances fade and then yuck it up with the Clippers while eating popcorn after a loss."* - Jerami Grant
This dude is not that good even when healthy. I hope we let some other team overpay him.
*Paraphrased.
You're entirely right that the cost will determine whether it's worth doing it or not. I'm just frustrated with him and I feel it's inevitable he's going to get too much from us. I hope I'm wrong.I get the frustration with Jerami. I want to see him back, but not at 30 to 35 mil. Too much chedder for his production. 25 mil. is about max. He wasn't hitting from the perimeter (maybe, as you say, because of heavy legs) but he attacked the basket so effectively. I winced a couple of times when he hit the ground so hard.Tonight was the 1st night in awhile where i thought Dame had heavy legs. He's been carrying too much weight.
has dame hurt his wrist?
He came down hard on his left, and looked to have ice on his right during rest. He's a fighter. Blood and guts, no surrender. Cronin's job is to find more players with the same mindset.God who cares at this point…
