I'm not giving up on the kid. But because of where he was picked, he needs to contribute way sooner than Ant has. Sorry, but that's the way that it is when you're picked high. He may never be as good as a Kobe Bryant, but he needs to contribute as fast as Bryant did. Time line wise.

This is his kid gloves year. Next year HE MUST CONTRIBUTE to the team's winning .

Man Kobe didn’t start until his 3rd season if I’m not mistaken. Stuck behind Eddie Jones I think? Still though averaged 8 and then like 15 his first 2 seasons off the bench. Bro if this kid can come close to that, I’d be sold on him.

In my opinion if he is THAT close to contributing, he should be out there running circles around teams like this tonight.

here are some rookie stats of really young wings who blew up in year 2/3/4:

Kobe: 15.5 min, 7.6 pts, 1.9 reb, 1.3 ast, 42% FG
T-Mac: 18.4 min, 7 pts, 4 reb, 1.5 ast, 45% FG
Paul George: 20.7 min, 7.8 pts, 3.7 reb, 1.1 ast, 45% FG
Jaylen Brown: 17.2 min, 6.6 pts, 2.8 reb, 0.8 ast, 45% FG

The challenge given this roster build is getting Shaedon even 10 min, much less 15-20min per game like these other guys. So much clutter at 2/3 that guys need to play out of position or be injured for him to get on the floor. I'm still incredulous that this will work.

I think Cronin built a roster that can go .500 but still won't allow the young guys to get any run. Mediocrity personified.

SHIT! I’d take ANY of those numbers from this kid.

Dame’s around another 5 years at least. Sharpe will become a great player before then.

So as somebody who doesn’t gamble, what does this mean? I would guess that means we are favored to win by 29.5? Wonder what the spread was when the Suns played that Cricket team from Tasmania last weekend?
You are correct, Minus “-” means a team is favored, in this case to win by 29.5. Whereas the plus states that if a team loses they will lose by 29 or less. Referred to as “covering the spread”.

It’s funny how you pretend, like you don’t have a Rick Fox poster on your wall right now.

Eddie Jones was money in NBA Live

Solid NBA era. AI in Philly. Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce in Boston before KG, Rondo, and Ray Allen.

Idk about with the starters, but maybe with the bench.

Not a very nice line to bet on anyways, total crapshoot. Starters or bench. 30 points or more is both a lot in basketball and also absolutely possible.

Yeah, you never know because if the starters don't play, then our 3rd team becomes the 2nd team and you never know what happens then. They will still be better athletes, but that does not mean they are a better team after only playing together for a few weeks. I can see a 30+ point lead evaporating a bit in the 4th if just one of their players gets hot from 3.

I would not touch that betting line. Too many unknowns.

Keon is a solid representation of what it can be like to make it in the league. Likely to be overlooked on an NBA team playing a position where it will be incomprehensibly difficult to find minutes.

I think Keon has taken B Williams minutes already this season..Chauncey likes him and so do I...this young man is going to become a two way player in his second year. He's talented.

Dame and the Professor

What is this lol

What the Professor does is not NBA basketball. It's street ball. That's totally fine. It's entertaining. Not sure why he's giving Dame advice though.
