I would venture a safe bet that the franchise has a much more realistic expectation of the team than we do as fans. So I doubt he's in the hot seat.
 
Never have bet the under on the Blazers season win total..... might be the year it's a great bet though...... Under 40 wins.

i can guarantee you the team has more expectations than losing by 30 nightly

If young guys are developing well then probably best to just leave him as coach. This franchises problems are #1, 2, 3 the talent on the roster. Throw any of the all time best coaches this team and it'd still be shit.

I don't have any confidence in this team, but I don't think "big changes" are very possible. Nor do I think that management will suddenly change its tune over a 5 game swing.

I know that Cronin has said, "We're not done" with this team, but... it's about as done as it's going to be this year. We just need to try to get into the playoffs and have Dame win us some games. That's not a very good hope, I don't think, but it's probably better than changing courses 20 games into this stupid approach (mainly because I don't think the stupidity can be un-stupided this year).

It's too late, dude. Several teams have been building a roster to tank for months or even a couple of years. We've got too many veterans with substantial contracts to suddenly be TERRIBLE. We'll be mediocre and just gotta gun for good-mediocre :)

I keep hearing Danny Marang say they "will" make a trade at the deadline, but I don't really know who they can trade (outside of Hart) who would get much in return.

This is gonna be a long season. The only saving grace might be seeing Shaedon occasionally put together a stretch of play that tricks us into thinking he's going to keep playing that way this year.
 
I don't care if it comes at the expense of wins (hahahah) they HAVE to make time for Shaedon.
 
Shit I got super excited over that one play, only to realize it was Rhoden and not Sharpe.
