Payton is definitely a billups type player, but I'm curious to see if he is a Dame and Ant type player. Our office has traditionally been more ISO heavy in the past, and while I'm sure Phillips wants to change that, I'm not sure we've seen that change with Dame to this point..

In theory I get this move, but I'd be real curious to see how it all plays out.
 
GP2 would be a great pick up. With what money we have available to sign a FA…I like this pick up. Payton and hart off the bench? Two dogs
 
brown actually played at PF on occasion last year, but after all this talk about how much we need size, he would not make any sense.
 
The Thybulle chatter sounds like not much with PJ Tucker getting his … guess they didn’t need the room? Or will they still want to move Thybulle? GP2 would be strong off the bench … especially if Hart is traded and with Ingles already gone.
 
I would love GP2 but holy shit. We should have kept him years ago. Makes no sense unless a trade happens. 8 million seems a bit much for him but my Beavs fandom would allow it.

depends on how much of a discount harden is willing to take. if not much, then they would need to get rid of Thybulle and/or Korkmaz. If Harden takes a substantial discount, then no need for them to trade him

LOL, it's not like this was a progression of free agent targets. Toronto supposedly wanted Hart, Little and 7 for OG. Thybulle is under contract with Philly. They're under no obligation to send him to us. GPII is a free agent. We can bring him in without outside help.
 
nurk and hart for ayton....? i would really not like that. even if we replaced hart with GP2 or Brown.

I'd think they only move Thybulle if something else happens where they need to cut more money, such as a Harris trade for a few players.
