Personally, I liked Chris Rock being smacked, especially by Will Smith.

Except its not. Call out when people make jokes about someone elses appearance.
Doesn't mean he shouldn't have been smacked when he was younger.
This has opened some old wounds, clearly…stuck in the repeat cycle…Then you go and suggest somebody hitting him when he is younger?
It's a weird place you are at right now with this "Appearance" thing? Just sayin.
Sure. Call it out. He had a huge stage and all the time in the world to call it out as he was accepting his Oscar.Except its not. Call out when people make jokes about someone elses appearance.
No old wounds. Too many people think its ok to say whatever they want without repercussions. This has opened some old wounds, clearly…stuck in the repeat cycle…
Disagree. But If one dude gets to try that with his spouse..... a win for all?Sure. Call it out. He had a huge stage and all the time in the world to call it out as he was accepting his Oscar.
Then it wouldn't be a joke.
But Smith's response cheapened it and made it a joke. But if it got Jada to "suck his dick from the back" I'm good with it. I can't think of a better cause to slap a fool than that!
Hell yeah!Disagree. But If one dude gets to try that with his spouse..... a win for all?
You tell 'em, slypokerkaren! No old wounds. Too many people think its ok to say whatever they want without repercussions.
You tell 'em, slypokerkaren!
Did you post above how bad of an influence it is for a child to hear adults say harsh words or talk down to others? What do you think children seeing adults HIT other people does??No old wounds. Too many people think its ok to say whatever they want without repercussions.
That deserves a slap. Mt. Tabor? You tell 'em, slypokerkaren!
Maybe. I am not saying anyone should immediately go to physical violence just because.Did you post above how bad of an influence it is for a child to hear adults say harsh words or talk down to others? What do you think children seeing adults HIT other people does??
Once again, one of those 2 things will send you to jail!
Hahahahaha!

Chris Rock apology for Oscars joke is fake
CLAIM: Comedian Chris Rock issued a public apology for his joke about actress Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head at the Academy Awards, saying he “crossed a line that I shouldn’t have and paid the enormous price of my reputation as a renown comedian.”
AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. This apology is fake and didn’t come from Rock, a representative for the comedian told The Associated Press in an email.
THE FACTS: Actor Will Smith’s decision to march onstage and slap presenter Chris Rock after Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife upended Sunday’s 94th Academy Awards, leading to strong opinions from viewers and a public apology from Smith the next day.
However, Rock had not publicly apologized for his joke as of Tuesday afternoon, despite a fake apology attributed to him that has amassed millions of views online.
The fake apology, which included several spelling errors, spread across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with social media users sharing it as a quoted statement.
“As a comedian it can be difficult to understand which lines are to be crossed and which ones aren’t,” the fake statement read. “Last night I crossed a line that I shouldn’t have and paid the enormous price of my reputation as a renown comedian. Comedy is never about poking fun at or making lite of people with major ordeals happening in their lives. Comedy is about using real life circumstances to create laughter and bring light to an otherwise dark world.”
The bogus statement continued with direct apologies to Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith and the rest of the Smith family, and a call for forgiveness over time.
Leslie Sloane, a publicist for Rock, confirmed in an email that the apology was “fake.” She did not respond to a question about whether Rock planned to apologize.
Smith slapped Rock and yelled expletives at the comedian after Rock made a joke about Pinkett Smith’s shaved head, saying he couldn’t wait to see “G.I. Jane 2.” Pinkett Smith has spoken publicly about her diagnosis with alopecia, a disease that causes hair loss.
Smith went on to win best actor for his role as Richard Williams, father of Venus and Serena, in “King Richard.” During his five-minute acceptance speech, Smith spoke about defending his family. He also apologized to the academy.
On Monday, Smith gave a stronger apology on his Instagram and through his publicist that included an apology to Rock.

Yes, that was obvious.
But it is good to know you know how to fact-check an article.
But it is good to know you know how to fact-check an article.
And, as we know, the Daily Mail consistently brings the goods.....for you.
I don't agree with much of the editorial side of the Daily Mail, but as I've explained to you before since people don't often click on a linked article and only go with what is in the title, the title and bullet points format works well in the forum. The Business Insider uses a similar format. The DM is just more sensationalistic in how they do it.
Simply clicking titles isn't wrong, though.
Where did I say it was?
Question: Is a slap worse than a punch?
