Another stat that totally is consistent with my watching of the game:

Clippers: 21 first half assists
Blazers: 8 first half assists

Simons and Sharpe (two guys who have black hole tendencies) have 3 assists each, promisingly enough.

Sharpe has always been a willing passer what?

I'm just baffled why they keep having Ant run the offense when we know his "play" will be to call his own number. Also, Ant is effective off ball, Scoot isn't.

Zubac deserves a lot of credit..

but this game isnt really on Ayton.. Aytons not the reason the blazers have a negative assist turnover rate or are shooting 20% from 3..

For the Blazers to play competitive ball --- EVEN if Ayton has crazy foul trouble --- he needs to shoot the ball, we gotta get him shots, 2fgas is crazy for a player who can shoot n play in the paint likehim..

ngl this seasons teams seems destined to have these sort of 3 minute dry spells on offense which suck the life out of games.. saw it during the run int he 2nd q and just happened here in the 3rd as well..


very fixable problems here tho..

if u keep the muscle n cut the fat, n then replace the fat with more muscle, this team can play .500 ball next season..
