We still have posters coming to terms with letting Zach Collins go, so...Seems as though some fans on here are still coming to terms with the Lillard exodus

The statement is right there for all to read. "I see nothing special, and his shot is completely broken."So what are you saying? Are you going on record as saying Scoot is a bust?
They are lowered for sure. I started lowering them about two years ago.maybe it’s time to lower your expectations of him and this season as a whole. Cus he ain’t goin no where and we’re obviously going to have games where we will struggle to break 90 and then we will have games like this. So real no use of constantly complaining about it unless you wanna just bitch to bitch.
Not ready to go there just yet. Now you made me the homer saying he's only 19 and he needs time. He needs to learn how to play his game. I agree the shot is very worrisome, but it can be worked on and he has time to do that.If his issue were turnovers, getting lost on defense etc, that would be one thing, but shooting is the most basic thing in basketball, not something that should be so horrendous due to lack of experience.
And his offense is a special kind of garbage. He's like Chris Dudley offensively. May be time to face the facts that he's probably another in a long line of Blazer busts.
Damian Lillard opened the 2021-22 NBA season by making only 2 of his first 23 three point attempts."Scoot will be the next Derrick Rose". Derrick never shot 8% from 3. Derrick knew 3pt shooting was not his strong suit and didn't take very many, whereas almost half of Scoot's attempts are from 3.
You are welcome to do that. Sorry my opinion of the situation frustrates you. You’re going on ignore.
I'm sure this game was a big moral boost for the team as well! They're going to need it going into Fridays game.I loved our energy and how crisp we were. Obviously Bari was huge for us. What I noticed more than anything was how much better we are with real point guards.

oopsSundays game

I don’t think he got a haircut. He just had it braided.Glad to see Scoot got a haircut. Maybe that will improve his game.
oops![]()
Don't forget Kris MurrayNice to see how Walker and Camara are developing, both had very good games
Dame was trying to play through severely injured core muscles. Lillard at half speed, it was easy to see something was wrong. (Then the team fell apart, Cronin began shedding Olshey weight. Starters got benched early, allowing CJ Elleby to shoot 1-8 every night. Then Portland drafted Shaedon Sharpe).Damian Lillard opened the 2021-22 NBA season by making only 2 of his first 23 three point attempts.
Only a few months earlier, Dame shot 12/17 from 3 in a playoff game. Excuses excuses.Dame was trying to play through severely injured core muscles. Bold statement: Scoot will will himself into the ROY conversation (top 5) by the end of the year.

Offensively TRASH! Hes not even a little bit good there. We might as well have drafted Asuar Thompson atleast with his no offense he has elite passing and super elite defense with great rebounding. And taller..

If we wanted a non shooter why not just get this guy? Whats the difference?
