So everything I’m reading and hearing is that this years draft is actually quite a bit better than what has been projected.
So from here on out this team needs nice competitive losses that give the young guys plenty of playing time.
Can’t afford the Spurs getting another #1 pick without at least trying to be worse than them.

I’ve kind of given up on Scoot showing anything this season. He’s gotta go into the offseason and figure out one thing he can do really well. Right now the only thing he’s good at is seeing the floor, but he’s such a mess offensively it’s not justified to give him lots of ball handling duties.

I'm just hoping that Joe is posturing about Jerami, we get good value for both him and Malcolm and Orlando blows our doors off with an offer we accept for Ant.

If this was a bunch of young guys without established players dominating the ball, these losses could still be fun but with these established players gumming up the works these games are depressing.

It wouldn't have to be one of their guys that have already shown they can play for me to pull the trigger. A prospect like Black, salary filler and multiple FRPs and I'd be good. I think more people (hopefully Joe is one of them) need to embrace the suck that is a rebuild and stop trying to shortcut it.

He's far worse at paint protection though. I think our defense looks way better with Deandre in, he's both more switchable and even though he doesn't block shots he puts up more resistance to driving opponents.
