didn't watch the game....question: Camara only 3 minutes...did he get hurt?

the foursome of Brogdon-Grant-Ayton-Ant averaged 37 minutes...why?
did not hear anything about Camara

Billups wants to win, dammit

game summary:
Andre Drummond (7ppg avg) outscored Anfernee Simons by 4.

Precisely. Yet this dude expected Ant and the Remixers to win.
Anferno has great nights, he was amazing in San Antonio. The Bulls have much better SG defenders, so Ant kept getting stymied tonight. It wasn't the worst game ever by Simons.

The Blazers need a lot more firepower to look better and win more often , sometimes, occasionally. Young team, inconsistent, tonight the Blazers shot 6-33 from deep (18%), but played scrappy ball and cut it to 3 midway through 4th.

from what i can tell, Portland is the only NBA team that uses their entire G-League team as their 2nd unit. Cronin's stealth tank lost it's muffler. The losses can get loud with 5-7 rookies on the court.

that's kind of misleading though

240 minutes in a game. Brogdon-Ant-Grant-Ayton-Thybulle played 179 minutes combined.

Grant - 10th season
Brogdon - 8th season
Ant - 6th season
Ayton - 6th season
Thybulle - 5th season

So, 5 players who are on average in their 7th season played 75% of the minutes tonight. It just doesn't make any sense to me what Portland is doing this season

the other GM's helped Cronin assemble this lineup. "Go get 'em tiger"

Joe didn't hear the laughter and high fives after the meeting.

Billups is trying to save his job

So was Monta Ellis for the Warriors...

Some good offensive players are not conducive to winning. Check CJ McCollum.
That might be the case at the end of the day, but this team is so lacking in other talent, that there would be nothing to benefit from his departure.

Cronin has to do something, get Brogdon and Grant off the Team and clear the runway for Scoot and Shaedon ffs

Pedantic is when you go after minor details. DeRozen and White leading the team in scoring is not a minor detail. You should just say you were wrong without criticizing me. You can’t handle it, I guess.
As we get closer to another person on “Ignore”.
Oh the irony!

Brogdon, yes. Start Simons and Sharpe the rest of the season. Grant, we have no one to replace him with. I don't see any urgency in trading him. Just wait for a nice package.
I wouldn't mind seeing a DA/Walker/Matisse front court.

We're a bottom 5 team. There isn't much benefit to him staying either I'd say.

What would benefit from his departure is opportunity cost. Thrust Shaedon and Scoot into the leading roles and seeing if they can build something together. With Ant in the way, that won't happen.

I think it'll be better for Scoot's development if he comes off the bench for awhile. Scoot/Simons/Sharpe can be a 3 guard rotation. There are plenty of minutes for them at guard, and that doesn't overlap with Grant playing SF or PF.

Say for example, that Scoot and Sharpe make big leaps in 1-2 years, we're going to want Grant at that point.
