Now it's that time in the game where the Blazers passed the ball to Grant and everybody stands and watches him.

Well what’s his nuts sure likes to shoot

Maybe Rupert is utter garbage, but we may as well either get him experience and see if he gets better and figure out if we want to invest further in his development.

What’s more impressive: Holding the Pelicans to 93 points or our offense scoring only 84 points?

Just to note: The Lakers put up 87 points on the Pelicans yesterday…………… in the first half.

hey.. Portland had 2 more assists then turnovers. That's a positive stat.

I don't think Holton knows the definition of "stat stuffing" because he said that Ayton was doing that tonight but they were meaningful and kept us in the game.

I think you’re confusing ‘stat stuffing’ with ‘stat padding’. I think he just means he’s stuffing the stat sheet.

Scoot was extra extra shouty from the Blazers sidelines. He deserves the Freddy's golden shopping cart award.

As compared to guys who shot 5-14 and 1-3 and made One three-pointer between them.
There are worse players than that, so it is entirely possible.

I hope it's not the case, but it's not like we've seen Rupert go out and dominate the NBA.

Thybulle averaging 3ast, 3stl, 1 blk in last 4 games. His shooting percentages have dipped, but Matisse is playing good ball.

We will undoubtedly use at least one of our picks on a wing. It's time to trade him and go all in on developing Murray, Rupert, and Camara. I'll take a first.

I guess that will be something to discuss in four or five months.

Rupert has to dominate the NBA to earn playing time?

Hitting 3-pointers and playing good defense should be plenty enough for the youngest member of the roster to be on the court.

None of the young forwards have proven that they can hit 3-pointers consistently.

You can't be 3-and-D if there is no 3.

I didn't say he had to dominate the NBA to earn playing time, I simply said he hasn't done that, so it's not like we know he's a really good player not getting playing time. I'm guessing the front office and coaching staff has seen him put in a lot more reps than we have and they appear to think that he's less worthy of playing than the guys in front of him.

There continues to be some narrative the young players don't get a chance in this organization, but that just isn't true. In fact, rookies are getting more of a chance in Portland this year than any team in the league. So maybe the reason he's not playing is simple and logical.

I did some research and the fact is that these are made up terms without hard definitions but just google "stat stuffing". Many sources and journalists consider stat stuffing to be the same thing as stat padding. Tons of regional and national broadcasters ask the question if a player is just stat stuffing when they are scoring points, getting rebounds, getting assists, etc. after the game has been decided.

What are they SUPPOSED to do when the game has been decided? If there were more “stat stuffers” whatever that means on their roster maybe they’d be WINNING those games.
