There are two that would help this team. Problem is they will go 1st and 2nd.

I wonder about that. You see only 2 that can help. I have been thinking 3, but maybe both of us are wrong. Maybe they are not seeing much of a drop-off when you consider how the young players project in 2-3 years. I mean look at the variance of the mocks, Bleacher Report has Cody Williams at #8. He is in my top 3. But how do we know that guys like Holland and Buzelis won't end up being better than him or Risacher?

Either way, we are talking about the #4 spot vs # 5. Is there really enough of a difference for us to blatantly tank a game against a bad team? Now I wouldn't want to drop any further but winning another 4 games won't kill us IMO.

The fact is this isn't a draft as devoid of clear cut blue chippers as lets say 2013 was but it also doesn't have the high end prospects that last year or the year before had in the top 3... and I think that's what you or I guess you've said more so the people you've spoken with are seeing because I think you've said that you haven't even looked into these prospects and are just taking the word of others that this draft is so weak.
Your statement is not a fact...

As I researched this draft, I think it is equal to that 2013 draft. I would be absolutely amazed if it turns out to be better.
Just so we are clear (absent of injuries):
2-all stars
3-good starters
15-18 players that eek out a 8+ year career

So 20-22+/- players in total are NBA quality.

I think Topic (who isn't a great fit for our needs) might go before Risacher and maybe even Sarr. I also think Cody Williams would help this team instantly.
If SA gets the #1 pick this will probably happen.
