Clippers shot 60/45/87%
too bad they have too many shooters and will struggle in the playoffs (according to Lamar Hurd)

Awesome effort by the rookies tonight to make it respectable..Scoot, Toumani, .Rupert, Reath, Murray, Walker and Banton really worked their asses off against HOF Clippers players.

I think Rupert did the right thing. Really the only chance to win the game at that time. If he could have got his own rebound, put it in and got fouled in the process, they would have been down only 3 with about 10 seconds left. I hope Billups wasn't admonishing him on that....
naaah, Rupert's fine, he'll get lots of minutes with a tank... err.. i mean tough road schedule ahead.

Ant passed Batum on the 3pt list as a Blazer tonight ..they were tied going into the game

This is why I want this team to play without Ant for the final stretch. They played good ball.

I didn't watch the game (because really, why would you?) but looking at the boxscore - what the fuck happened to Anfernee?

I'm guessing he wasn't 100%.

via Rotowire:

Trail Blazers' Anfernee Simons: Leaves early Friday

Simons has been ruled out for the rest of Friday's game against the Clippers due to a left knee injury. He recorded three points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six assists and one steal in 22 minutes before leaving.

Simons had been listed as probable heading into Friday's game while battling tendinitis in his left knee, so he may have aggravated the injury at some point during the contest. The team will likely re-evaluate Simons early Saturday, but it wouldn't be surprising if he ended up being held out against the Nuggets in the second leg of a back-to-back set

Done for the remainder of the season.

I should have put a question mark after that statement. It sure seems like it would make sense.
Especially with Shaedon doing a quick rehab stint with the Remix. I would think it would make sense if we've seen the last of Ant, Malcolm, Tisse, Jerami and Deandre for this season.
