In crunch time, he seem to defer to JG. I feel that his missed layup late could've changed his approach for the remiander of the game.I guarantee you Shae has the green light.
Yep I've been thinking that for a while.hard to win when you're giving up a 23 point margin at the FT line
Mays is competent but he needs to find ways to mitigate his dribble-mania
Chauncey is going to grind Sharpe down and he needs to stop it, ASAP. Sharpe leads the NBA in minutes at 39 and played 42 tonight. Fatigue increases the chance of injury and drains efficiency
Well he IS injured. The thumb injury is semi serious.hard to win when you're giving up a 23 point margin at the FT line

What happened to Thybulle? Is he hurt?
Matisse played 5 minutes to start 3rd. Then coach Billups benched him the rest of the game. Chauncey "forgot" Thybulle was playing outstanding ball in the 1st half.

Blazers are hackers. I saw Toumani go over the back on his teammate to get a rebound. No free throws for Ayton? c'mon refs !!37-9 FTA differenve is insane
Dammit is spelled dammit. There's no n in it. If you want to use the n because that does make sense then you have to make it two words. I don't make the rules man.All I want to do is best the l*kers this year. Don't care about the rest of the games. DAMNIT.

They were afraid if they went for the ball the refs would call them for a foul. The Lakers out hustled the Blazers. Reddish ran down a ball as it was about to go out of bounds. The blazers watched. There was a couple other times where the Blazer players stopped and the Lakers hustled for the ball.
Skylar has outperformed Scoot so far this season. When Scoot comes back we need to give him 5-10 games to work into shape, but if Skylar continues to outplay him I'm not sure it makes sense to play Scoot over 30 mpg or gift him a role he doesn't earn.Skylar is a legit NBA player. He played well, glad to have him.
Why did Sharpe earn his role? We benched every single veteran, signed a bunch of shitty G league guys, and then handed the ball to Shae. Sure, he had some nice dunks during the year, but he didn’t do anything to earn that starting spot. We wanted to see what he could do as a starter and he showed that he can be a really good player.Skylar has outperformed Scoot so far this season. Players need to earn their minutes and roles.
Sharpe legit earned his role last season and Ant had to sit a few years till he earned his. The cost of a #3 pick is a sunk cost.
Sharpe role at the start of LAST YEAR was as a limited minute backup. That was a role he performed well at and earned. Why did Sharpe earn his role? Scoot doesn’t get that opportunity. He hasn’t been put into a zero pressure situation where we are actively trying to lose games. He has been out out there with some really solid players and heaps of expectations that he will perform immediately.
Now it’s too late to put the genie back in the bottle. We need to stick with the horse we rode in on. Let him take his lumps and learn on the job. Sharpe is a really good scorer but he also makes A TON of stupid mistakes and loses track of his man on defense.
On a playoff team, if sharpe was consistently fucking up like he has been, he would not be starting. He made some massive mistakes at the end of the game tonight that realistically cost us a possible win. That fine. That’s why we are rebuilding.
But people need to stop acting like Sharpe has earned this. He still makes rookie mistakes. Scoot running the offense and putting up 7-8 assists is the same as Sharpe scoring 15 points. They play different positions and they’re asked to do different things. Let them learn. Let them make mistakes. That’s the whole point of this season. We don’t care about winning.
People seem to think that of you criticized Stotts you can't criticize Chauncey. As if one of them has to be good and one of them has to be bad. As if its Chauncey vs. Terry.Stotts had a system, I just didn't agree with said system. Chauncey has no system.
I think it actually is a rule. Dammit or Damn it. Damnit isn’t a thing. For me dammit is an exclamation and damn it is just adding the word it after a verbYou don't make the rules cause that isn't a rule lol.
Regardless, I do it in both spaced out and without the space, and it's indicative of how I feel in the moment lol
Some of us feel "Spaced out" quite a bit.Regardless, I do it in both spaced out and without the space, and it's indicative of how I feel in the moment lol

He signed an $11 million contract as a restricted FA. That's how the system works. He has shown time and time again that he can play multiple positions defensively and can hit a corner three. His contract is 3 years. IMO you keep that player and continue to build. Even more so when you take into account what everyone says about the guy being a great teammate and that he loves it here.I think he could make a big enough impact on a team that is going to compete in the playoffs that they would give up a prospect with more upside or draft compensation because they need help now not later and we're in the opposite position. Also Tisse signed with another team this off season we just matched, so if he wants to be on a more competitive team, I'd not want to hold him back.
Competitive loss with a ton of injuries, this is the year to give youngins a ton of play and see what they got, and of course get a top 4 pick!Sucks. We were right there. Did we do that on purpose? Or are we saving energy for IST game?
You’re acting like this is a playoff team and it’s in the best interest of the team to play Mays or Brogdon. It’s not. The team isn’t good and it’s not supposed to be good. It doesn’t make sense to play either of those guys instead of Scoot because they have no long term future with the team.Sharpe role at the start of LAST YEAR was as a limited minute backup. That was a role he performed well at and earned.
He was handed a starting role much later when the team was tanking the final ~15 games and starting scrubs.
This year Sharpe wasn't given a starting spot. He provided superior offense and defense to Scoot yet came off the bench until there were multiple injuries.
Scoot has been gifted a starting spot while not producing. That's just a fact, and something Sharpe, Ant and others did not get.
I'm just saying if Scoot gets outplayed by Mays or others well info the year he shouldn't continue to be gifted 30+ mpg nor a starting spot. He may need to earn those to keep them long term when other guys all get healthy.... Just as Sharpe and others earned those roles.
Russell Westbrook is an MVP but had to accept a bench role. Melo is a hall of famer Olympian but accepted a bench role. Kobe Bryant had a bench role for multiple years. Ginobili was an all-star title winner and had to accept a bench role.
If Scoot isn't performing he might have to accept a bench role until he earns more. It might ultimately be much better for his long term development as well.
People seem to think that of you criticized Stotts you can't criticize Chauncey. As if one of them has to be good and one of them has to be bad. As if its Chauncey vs. Terry.
Some people need to move on from Terry. It's been 3 seasons...
You might have moved on from Stotts but there are clearly are a lot here and the fan base in general that have not. They are just different coaches with different issues. I moved on from Stotts when the Blazers did, I just haven't settled with Chauncey.

Yeah the last part wasn't directed at you. They are just different coaches with different issues. I moved on from Stotts when the Blazers did, I just haven't settled with Chauncey.
What's funny is some of them were trying to tell me to move on from Dame days after the trade happened. You might have moved on from Stotts but there are clearly are a lot here and the fan base in general that have not.
