Pathetic and embarrassing

this was an x-rated game: the officiating sucked, for both teams, and Blazer broadcasting spent two hours fluffing Yang

Deimers kind of made me miss Callabro, and I didn't think that was possible. Kind of hard to believe Memphis won 48 games last season

For both teams? They got like three times the free throws we did.

that doesn't necessarily mean much. Memphis had a 52-34 advantage in points in the paint; they were attacking the hoop a lot more than the Blazers were. The paint is where most fouls are called

That wasn't Demers tonight, he was the play by play guy last game though. It was some other guy who isn't affiliated with the team. I don't know if Travis got sick too. It seems like some virus is going around the team.

ok...thought it was Deimers....whoever it was, he was grating

Positives: Yang got as many blocks and steals as Edey and 1/3 as many turnovers!

Kris wasn't as godawful this game - in fact he shot 100% (and got a steal and 2 blocks). We wouldn't've been any worse if he'd played all Shaedon's minutes. And Caleb's.
Edey fouled out before Yang!

So was Detroit some of the worst I’ve seen in years. Since when do you let a guy lay on floor injuries with dead ball possession
This was a lot worse than the Detroit game. These guys were so inconsistent and seemed to lose track of the rules. They definitely lost control of the game. You don't see that happen very often at the pro level of any sport anymore. The thing where they allowed Memphis to inbound the ball and run a 5-on-3 for a dunk while Yang was injured on the floor and a teammate was checking on them was something I can honestly say I've never seen before.

Then watching the replay and seeing just how badly Edey karate chopped Yang in the forehead and that that was somehow missed made it even worse. Then we got a tech for it, too. I think that would have been Edey's sixth foul.

I'd expect that crew to get called on the carpet. We might not hear about it, but that was really a sorry display.

Apparently that particular ref has a reputation among the fans

Watching the second quarter and I really like the on-court chemistry Deni and Toumani have. They seem to be playing a two-man offense sometimes which is a sight better than one guy driving and dishing over and over.

Yeah, that's just another reason the team can't come out flat like they were most of the first half.
Look, maybe it’s time we all admit to ourselves that we’re just not a .500 team without three of our starters and two of our top bench guys. Oh we came out flat. Buddy we were starting Hansen Yang. Flat is about the best we can muster right now.

Someone should start tracking your boxouts where your team gets the rebound but not you. Like a rebound assist. Yang would lead the league.
