What do people think about Scoot’s athleticism? There’s a lot that’s been said about how fast he is. To me his speed and athleticism seems to be a half step slower than guys like Ja, Rose and Westbrook.

He's a burster. Right now he's playing with pace. Trying to get his team involved. If Scoot gets a breakout ball and open hoop... watch out

How would we know at this point? The only thing we know is that he is on a team with Shaedon and everyone was talking about how fast Scoot is... so we know he's noticeably faster than Shae and Shae is fucking fast. Chauncey has probably told him to slow things down until he gets the hang of things. We've seen him burst past every defender that's been on him but he's made some spazzy passes that make it not so memorable.

I think I'll just trust the guys he practices with.

I like it. Summer sounds great. Let's have fun this season and evaluate young players. This season might be most relaxing to watch since Dame came here.

I'm really not sure what the purpose of pre-season is anymore. Looks like all Portland is tying to do is decide on who will be the 14th and 15th guys in the rotation.

That IS the purpose of preseason.
