Grant's statline makes a guy shudder. He doesn't even try to make anyone better, except opponents. He has to be gone at the deadline. He ain't doing himself any favors either. That kind of play will never net him any kudos from anyone other than Calabro.

Disappointed in him.

Part of me thinks that/wonders if Shaedon is just waiting to get some run in before he starts playing like we hope can (not like we hope he will end up being).

I really hope by the end of the season he's showing significant growth from last year, and Scoot is playing like he's been in the league 5 years.

Yeah, it does seem rather unrealistic that some team will seek his talents, esp at his salary.

Any summation of the game? I couldn't watch it. Looks like about what you'd expect against a contending team with us so young and still trying to figure out basic sets. Anything noteworthy though?

one thing that really stood out to me is how little we got ayton involved after the first. if we want him to just do the dirty work and set picks, we got the wrong guy.

Exactly. Wondering why we killed in the 1st and 3rd, lagged in the evens (though made a run in the 4th).

we kept up with them in the first cuz we hit shots. they ramped up the defense just a lil bit and we looked like shit. our defense was nonexistent.

most noteworthy thing to me was how dominant phoenix looked. nurk will really help that team. perfect fit.

We went from having all small guards to surplus of defending wings. Camara, Murray and Rupert all can defend well.
