We will need a few for sure, but I am guessing that they will only sign when they have no other options. Maybe in a month? We really need to know who we are getting back in the trade before we waste money on signing a vet

Depends how much they believe he is healed and ready mentally. I would throw them a 2nd round pick as well and sign me up. Play Big Ben at Center for all I care until it is time to extend Shae and Scoot.

Bill Simmons and his 2 guests all agreed that Ben Simmons contract was by far the worst in the league. He simply does not play. He has a chance to play this summer (Australia?) and he's "rehabbing" instead.
 
Now some of the contracts being handed out are absurd but other teams are at least trying to get better and besides re-signing Grant we might have signed a Euro big man that was not good enough in the NBA the first time around. It's no wonder Dame has asked out cause besides that he prolly also saw the rumors of Eric Gordon and Max -- two more guards.

Right, and for only $9 million total for two years. 25 year old power forward who plays good defense and is a decent rebounder. Wouldn't he have been a good fit here?
BTW, have I missed it? We haven't signed anyone yet, right? What's that all about?

Correct. I kinda wonder if we are saving our MLE until we know who is on our team. That’s why I started to get suspicious that we weren’t linked to any free agents on Friday. We can also use the MLE as a trade exception.
