No they won’t. Warriors probably won’t even be a top 4 seed in the West and that might be generous.
That's way too generous

Wait fr?No they couldn't.
Well, look at the bright side. We should improve this year. We certainly couldn't have set a lower bar than this opener if it was underground.
Wait fr?
ok you don’t even do hypothetical convos here.
aight bet
The Warriors look good because the Blazers look bad. Are they going to beat the Nuggets?
The Mavs?
The Wolves?
The Suns?
Let alone beat the Celtics or 76ers or Knicks.

I don't think any one of those three have a particularly bad contract because under 30M is what a championship caliber team should be expecting to pay their third best starter or ever fourth best. DA has shown that he can be very effective (championship level) as a starting C with the right personnel around him. Jerami looks like he would be great as a third or fourth best player on a contender who is very good but not great on both ends. I think Ant makes about what he's worth as a hired gun/bucket getter. That's what 89 million gets you? Wow, what a waste of money.
100%He’s def got more immediate potential than Simons. Just as a pg.
I’ll take 18/8 if he can get it on good efficiency eventually over anything Simons could ever offer us.
Im higher on Scoot than anyone, but just realistically speaking it’s worth the risk for us to just go all in on him from that position. We have no other option.

The Thunder ...

The problem is that these guys are playing on a team where they are all arguably the best player and the drop off after those three is pretty steep. None of these three guys can come close to carrying a team. All three are very solid complementary guys. We don't need any solid complementary guys right now because we don't have a star for them to complement, let alone the two stars it would take to contend. Right now they're just taking minutes away from guys we should all still have hope for... and for me that includes Scoot.

maybe scoot needs to ditch the contacts and go back to the goggles again.
shot is so broken
I can't say that there was even one player tonight whose performance I felt good about.
Game's broken. His instincts are non-existent. No real good sense of when to drive, when to shoot, when to pull up, how to balance the floor or get back on defense.
I just watch him and I'd feel better if he was a blank slate.
i think all of the problems are stemming from his lack of a shot (both confidence and defenses sagging off him).Game's broken. His instincts are non-existent. No real good sense of when to drive, when to shoot, when to pull up, how to balance the floor or get back on defense.
