I thought it was out into place because of Trae and Harden.

That play was textbook to why they changed it and stop allowing that. Punishing a guy for playing defense? Trae threw himself into Tou. That was some cheap shit.

Still lost though, so there is that.

At this point I don't see the point in taking, we ain't gonna be anywhere near the worst team in the league. That's reserved for the Jazz, Raptors, Wizards and maybe Pelicans if they just decide to "shut it down." I want us to win as much as possible as long as Sharpe, Scoot, Clingan and/or Camara are contributing big. Don't need to see Simons or Ayton anymore. We should just pray the NBA decides to reward us with the number 1 pick this time no matter what position we are in.

I could take being the 5th or 6th worst.

Can I just say: this Hawks team is no joke! Getting Daniels and Quinn Snyder has really turned this team around. And Jalen Johnson and Risacher are a great young pair of forwards. Trae Young is their Anfernee, though.

Point is: this was a solid win! And I no longer hate ALL third quarters

I'd love to get Snyder to be our coach.

The defense has been way better without both of them, and yes as you say gives Shae/Banton/others much more opportunities on offense.

If we were a contender I'd consider thinking of trying to get them to buyin to a lesser role. But there's no way they will happily accept a back seat to Sharpen or someone having a hot game like Banton. They both delusionally view themselves as one of the best players on the team.

It’s just a game folks, we all have different views of how to get there. I was in the trade Dame camp for a few seasons and it wasn’t very popular. I know continuing to “tank” is probably looked down on by roughly 60-70% and I’ll admit I wanna win when I see the kids playing like this, I want them rewarded. However if Joe is being stubborn on his prices for Ant/Ayton/Grant and we don’t get to see this kind of basketball then I hope we do continue to tank, even though with them playing I think it’s just called losing. It would really be nice to snag one of those top 5 kids from this draft. I’m sold on Sharpe and Cling but even adding a VJ Edgecombe, let alone Flagg, would be insane for our future.

Well, as you probably already know:

"The only exceptions to this rule occur when the game is in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter or during overtime."

There were about 2 seconds on the clock in this case.

I find every win bittersweet and the same with the losses right now. I think this team needs to try and have the best odds of landing Flagg and I do get pretty angry when Ant and/or Jerami (actually especially Jerami) are the biggest reason that we win because I don't see them in our team's future.

Wins like tonight/last night when Shaedon is showing so much growth are super fun while I'm watching but afterward I'm a little worried that we're losing sight of the big picture because even if we get good returns for Ant, Jerami and Deandre, I still don't think we'll likely have accrued enough talent to be title contenders year in and year out for a sustained period and that is really what I want.

Maybe correct me @Natebishop3 if I'm wrong but what i think he is saying is he has King on ignore so the ignore feature still exists.
What people seem to be complaining about is not being able to ignore a Mod. @Strenuus is a mod and is exempt from the ignore feature.

Of course @KingSpeed has me on ignore so he cannot see my post and cannot confirm the other side of this?
