He's shooting above his norm for a couple of games but his norm is 3 in 10. That's not good. I know you want him to be good. I want him to be good. But you are killing yourself sticking to a position that a guy shooting under 30% a third of the way into the season and is a little above 30% for his career is just going through a little slump. Right now, we have a large enough sample size that says this is what he is.

That's one of the biggest irritating things about watching this team play, and it's magnified when they play the Lakers.

Momentum swings happen on a dime, but seem to happen TO the team, instead of FOR the team.

Ant with an unnecessarily difficult floater that never had a chance. Ayton with a lazy offensive foul.

Watching lack of effort like this makes me wonder why I put the effort into caring about this assemblage of players. Just no real interest in playing a game. It's just a bunch of random plays with no cohesion.

I guess it's time to mention that when Chauncey was gone we seemed to play with an offensive scheme and when Chauncey's back that plan has disappeared.
 
Make a good play, then Deni gets a T for taunting when we're losing. WTH guys?

Bullshit. He will improve his percentage. He’s a good shooter. Sharpe is not a finished product.

He's going in the wrong direction if he's going to be improving. Usually players start off low and get higher as they get more minutes and skills.
 
In Kidd’s 10th season, he shot 32% from 3.
Here’s his 14th, 15th, and 16th season:

46%
41%
43%

you can improve.

There is a lack of effort on some players part and a lack of high bbiq choices on others. A lot of mistakes in a row with no timeouts taken to reset. It leads to large runs by opponents and insurmountable leads.

Sometimes, it takes more than 2.5 seasons.
