Unfortunately we won too many games, the odds of getting either is miniscule.

It's why you needed to lose as many games as possible this year.
The season isn't close to over. I do wish we had less than 12 wins right now but we shouldn't concede that we're going to win at the same rate the rest of the season. We're in the sixth spot right now and I hope we get to the top three and I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that we'll be outside of the top three.

Yea, we can be top 3 worst record by the end of the season. Enough games left.

You're expecting a lot out of teams that have won 8 games in 35, 7 games in 33 games, 8 games in 33...

They are winning 1 out of every 4 games, actually not even. I don't count Washington or NOLA in this because they are the two worst teams.

But expecting us to lose more while simultaneously implying other teams that have shown they can't win more than a game every two weeks to all of a sudden jump us is... interesting.

I'll settle for the longer trends that show us what they are.

Oh, and were only a game back from tying with Brooklyn so.

The cause of too much winning is that this board erupts against Billups when he brilliantly loses by 60 points. He reacts to criticism by trying to win again. Next time we lose by 60, I want to see nothing but celebration. Straighten up and fly right.

I'm doing my part!!

yeah...right now it looks like Portland is headed toward the worst possible outcome for the season. They are 5 games out from the 10th seed in the play-in. Ironically, they are 4 wins from being 11th seed in the lottery; and 4 losses from being a top-4 seed in the lottery. This is about the dumbest purgatory imaginable for a team deep in a rebuild

typical Portland...tank hard into one the worst drafts in years, then, turn around the next season and win just enough games to have shitty lottery odds in the best draft in years

One of the many reasons I took a sabbatical this year on watching them. And the way things are going, if we don't get a miracle in the draft, the next year too.

Think it'll be much harder this year - will be a lot of tanking competition at the end of the year so it'll be hard to pass those teams slotted with a higher pick.

Yeah, really disappointing we’re on this track. We’re in 6th, and we’ll stay in the bottom 7. But I don’t think we’ll do better than 5th, and that’s if NO gets healthy for a stretch.

Jeremi Grant needs to come back and get his 32.7 minutes per game for the Blazers to get back at tanking.

Deni Avdija playing 43 minutes is a disaster if the Blazers want to lose.

Even with his poorer-than-expected shooting to begin the season, Avdija has passed Deandra Ayton in True Shooting % for the season.
