Terry Porter proved why he isn't a coach in the league. Dude said something to the extent of, due to the fact that Shaedon has done so well off of the bench it will be hard to put him back in the starting lineup. Fuckin stupid!
I'm not so sure.... This sounds exactly like what another NBA head coach in that building is thinking.

I think next years draft is actually deeper imo. I do think Flagg is better then the top players in next years draft but not by much and there are imo 3 players better then Harper or Bailey. It is also a lot deeper with the picks 4-20. So it really wouldn't matter that much. If we were tanking for the top 3 worse records and had a good chance of getting Flagg then it would. The only problem is we are tanking for at least another year. I thought with Flagg or at least Harper or Bailey we would really be playing for a playin or better. It would good to give Chicago the pick this year and we would have all our picks free to trade.
Yeah it's crazy hearing how great both these drafts are.

I guess that's what happens when you have an epically awful draft a year earlier as in 2024.

How many of you got one of my hats? Cmon FAMS, I get a %!

I chatted with Hillinger the other day in the media room. Told him all about S2 and how there is a John Hollinger account on here and he cracked up. Said he hope he’s at least posting quality takes!
Better than his own real takes

@Mediocre Man never posted who is to blame Sacramento and I had all kinds of ideas! Trying to decide between Gavin Newsom and the Delta smelt. Or the fucking parking meter that ate my Amex at last year's yarn show so in the middle of the show I was frantically calling American Express to cancel my card.

Also for some reason Chauncey just forgot Deni existed.
I thought I saw Deni wincing a few times and he seems more guarded in his play. Two nights in a row he's had his minutes curtailed, he may be playing through an issue of some sort

You were given 1 point for my error

18 minutes for simons, 11 for sharpe. fuck this nonsense. every night, same damn thing.
Both Simons and Sharpe played well in another win & Shaedon got the 31 minutes he's averaged for the season.

It often seems like some are here for a good melt down

Sure Sharpe got minutes - at the expense of Deni who was benched and only played 18.

Meanwhile Grant leads the Blazers with 37 minutes shooting 36% FG and 29% on 3's. I guess we should congratulate Grant as a PF last night with 4 rebounds, as its higher than his season average.

Man what happened to Keegan.
Yeah Keegan's 3pt shooting is down to 32%, and starting he only scores 12ppg in a high scoring offense. Little to no improvements from his solid rookie season.

Still he smokes his twin - as Kris is shooting 25.8% on 3s. He shot 26.8% last year. This was a low upside old unathletic rookie that was supposed to be a role player on day one and is the same age as Deni/Ant/Banton/Camara/Ayton. If he was younger like Rupert I could understand continuing to develop him. He's a waste of a roster spot. Hopefully we don't guarantee his 4th year rookie contract in the summer.

Just curious, anyone know how to make a dish-washer safe version of this picture? Some sort of coating that can endure daily wiping down with tissue and windex? I am not sure laminated is up for this task. My reasons are my own.

I hope Banton plays in front of Murray the rest of the season. Murray is not an NBA quality player.

I would not mind seeing that either. However, I thought you all valued defense? You can't expect a player to get into an offense rhythm in 5-7 minutes a game. When Kris played more he has played better.

I think I read somewhere he has a slight wrist injury.

Some of the plays Sharpe was making last night.... ooof.

Just ridiculous.

Crossover stepback combo with elevation on his fadeaway, that hang time up and under, the deceleration play in the fast break.... only like 10 players in the league have this package. And he's 21. Why we don't just hand him the keys is beyond me. This guy is going to be an offensive juggernaut.

Good D shutting down Sabonis. (2-6 with 4 turnovers) He had a monster game on the boards with 14, but so did Camara.

It's funny, many if not most of his 6 fouls were baiting by Camara, but Sabonis should have been called for fouls on numerous other plays. They really let him be physical around the basket. Little things like Ant's hard driving layup down the right side, where he blew by Sabonis on the high screen, and Sabonis was pushing him away from the basket with the hand on the hip. Replay was of no help, but I thought I also saw him pull Camara's arm down on one of the tip-dunk attempts.

If Billups can get his defense improved that will make him only more valuable in the long run.

Sharpe can make jaw dropping plays. I hope he works on making more fundamental efficient plays though, especially early in the shot clock, and not the Dame/Ant jacking up 35 footers style that doesn't lead to a team having a top ranked offense.

I do wonder if there is any component to wanting Sharpe on the bench to depress his eventual extension value.

? Dame led offenses were routinely in the top 5 during his tenure here.
