I completely agree with you on Simons and Grant, and they have nothing to do with my comment. But if you watched tonight's game and honestly think Sharpe plays as hard, as doggedly as Reaves does, then there's no further discussion to be had between us on that topic.

Gotta love a whole team of young guys hustling for two extremely overpaid veterans to throw the game away BY THEMSELVES. Like how horrible are you guys that you can’t possibly coexist with the youngest teammates in the world who are doing everything to win, and the fact you never developed a lick of complete offensive game is now holding an entire franchise down… that’s pretty bad vets

Regarding Grant, in addition to his atrocious shooting, I feel like that 3-on-1 fast break charge of his killed our momentum and ultimately cost them their chance at this game.
I so wish Chauncey would bench him. Start Scoot, start Sharpe...hell, start Banton. Just get Grant off that court.

Why did Joe not trade him to the Lakers for a 1st and parts when he was kind of worth it and now he might be as untradeable as Ayton or getting damn close to it.

I love Cronin. Grant just sucks. I don’t blame Joe that JERAMI can’t play team basketball for a complete game.
Starting to think literally no one wanted him or Simons. Games like this remind me why

Weird to me that so few question why a coach is choosing to not "believe" in a player with so many physical gifts as Sharpe. Common sense would tell me Sharpe would be the type of guy any coach would look for any reason to believe in.

The answer that apologists have already given multiple times is that the Lakers weren't actually offering that deal. That Grant's contract is so bad that nobody wants it.
Of course, that's also an indictment of Cronin, but whatever...

OK Joe. It's time to call it. Time of death on this season is right now. Winning any of these next four games does nothing for this franchise but damage.
Sit Ant and Jerami for the rest of the season, probably Rob and Deandre too. Sit Deni and Tou for the next four and then bring them back against the good teams but sit them intermittently against other tanking teams. Let's try to get to the fifth lotto spot.
We are 10 fucking games under .500 with March right around the corner. It's time to turn our focus to the draft and let Scoot and Shaedon cook for the rest of the season. As far as the play in goes you just have to ask yourself, is Golden State or Sacramento going to play under .500 for the rest of the season and if they aren't can we win like 20 of our last 26. The answer is that we can't. So look to the future. We can salvage this season but only through the tank.
Call it Joe... just call it.

Correct me if I am wrong maybe I was just too focused and missed it but Sharpe was not even in the game at the end when he could have created his own shot ( and got crunch time XP ) over Grant who is a black F'ing hole -- nice job Billups ( idiot )

Foxx -- this Summer the Lakers were after Grant hard but Cronin ( if reports / rumors are true ) prolly turned down an offer from the Lakers thinking he could get more at the deadline.

I don’t think anyone could have foreseen hed have the worst season of his career.
But I agree. I would have traded him for a 3rd rounder.
I still love cronin. Can’t hate Jerami without remembering DC, Scoot, Shae, Toumani, Deni, Dalano… I can look at the full picture
