Blazers are better than this. Just didn't show up today.
 
Tatum is so strong now. He looks like a toy figure with those muscles.
 
We’re a real team. Any player can suck on any given night.
 
Disappointing loss but predictable. Now on to the only team in the Eastern Conference with a better record than the Celtics.

We're a lot better then we played tonight. We came in like a loss was a forgone conclusion. Didn't come with energy and fight. Didn't come to win.
 
Looking on the bright side: the Spurs and Miami both won today. We could still catch them in the tankathon!

in the two games against Portland, the Celtics had 185 shots; 104 of them were three's and the Celtics made 46 of them
 
Because POR loss to the defending champs they suck?

It was no surprise they won. That was expected. Just wanted to see more fight out of our guys tonight.
 
Blazers sure have caught some breaks in the last 3 weeks

Cleveland without Donovan Mitchell
Boston without Tatum. Jrue, Porzingis
OKC without SGA, Jalen Williams, Dort, Cason Wallace, Holmgren
Detroit without Hardaway Jr., Stewart
Knicks without Brunson
Toronto with the most blatant 4th Q tank in years
Memphis without Morant
Denver without Jokic
Boston, today, without Brown, Jrue, Porzingis

haven't capitalized very well...4-6 in those games
 
This is a great example of why, if you can't get a Flagg or Bailey in the lottery, drafting a guy like Knueppel makes sense for the Blazers. He's the type of player the Celtics have that has hurt the Blazers in the two games with Boston this year -- great shooter who keeps the ball moving and understands the game. The difference between Knueppel and many of the Celtics role players is Knueppel has more upside and more all-around talent.

One could counter that we've been without some of our better players in a lot of those games, too. People might not like Ayton, but his production is much better than Clingan, at least at this point. Clingan himself missed a game. Deni missed a couple. Grant's been out (even though the way he's played this year that might not be a bad thing). Ant missed a game. Toumani missed a game.
