I would have liked to hear them acknowledge what they specifically need to work on. It would hell develop my opinion regarding their bbiq. Typically guys with low bbiq aren't able to identify, isolate and fox their deficiencies.

Its not an end all by any means, but i would have more confidence in their continued improvement if they listed specifics.

Getting rid of players who can't help you win big is not choosing to lose.

Our middle-aged guys can't help us win. They can't help us get good enough to. They will prevent us from becoming good enough to win at a championship level.

Matisse and Kris are also by all accounts the two lowest ceiling holders on the roster in a lot of ways, so I don’t personally put any value on anyone interviewing

Except I see people in here talking about how we can make the playoffs.

So not everyone knows it.

The difference between a top 5 pick and a 5 through 10 pick is significant. Our middle-aged players will cost us that unless we fake injuries.

Better to get what we can out of them, and just be realistic about where we are, IMO.

They won’t try to make the playoffs.
Now remember the Hawks just made the playoffs and got the number one pick so let’s not put Karma to the test and start talking about probabilities again.

But the probabilities are the most important thing right now. Nothing else matters at this point. That is the only thing we have that we can actually rely on. We literally have no other rationally conceivable advantage.

We need two game thread per game. One for the die hards that think this team should go all out to win every game, to hell with the draft and capturing the Flagg. Anything goes in this thread. Bitch about lineups, strategy, coach, whatever. Another game thread for the die hards that are realistic and receptive of the REBUILD, not tank. In the REBUILD thread Chauncy should only be bitched about if he doesn't play the young guys enough, and not in good teaching situations. The bitching about players should be mainly Ant/Grant getting too much run and taking time from youngins in key teaching moments. The end goal of this thread is to capture the Flagg.

So one for the ones with realistic expectations and one for the nutjobs? They should have been doing that for the past 15 seasons, why start now FAMS!??
 
Screw what the players did in the offseason, I want to know if Chauncey went back to coaching school.
