Odd that the 2nd round still only has 2 minutes between picks. I'd think they could do at least 3 minutes so we don't have another Jokic drafted during a taco bell commercial experience.

Honestly I would not be shocked if Murray is thrown into a deal to help get the Blazers an extra future first ( extra incentive ) if/when they trade Grant , Ant or Ayton in the future.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but seeing on yesterday's broadcast that Sarr has an older brother who is a career scrub sure made me glad we didn't trade up for him. Siblings tend to not be too terribly far apart in athletic ability, and it's not like they differ much in size, or Alexander is a skill player who can thus overcome similar athleticism.

I was neutral on him before that, but now I feel like his upside potential is "not a bust."

Also, in the lineup of all the green room invitees, Clingan looked a solid 2-3" taller than Sarr.

Olivier Sarr was on our team and played quite well before he got injured and we cut him.

Yeah, his brother Olivier was briefly on our team as a two way before he got injured and never played a regular season game for us.

The Blazers traded for Deni Avdija from the Wizards on Wednesday and then made a few draft night additions.

The Blazers have an expensive roster thanks to the contracts of Deandre Ayton, Grant and Anfernee Simons.

Portland is expected to field offers for Robert Williams, despite his injury history, and Ayton, despite his, well, Ayton history. Grant is thought to be available but the price is high; Portland is not actively trying to move his contract.

Portland has good young players who need to play. How does it make room in the rotation for them with the contracts on its balance sheet?

Okay, that explains why the name seemed ever so slightly familiar. If injuries derailed him, then maybe there's still hope for Alexander's basketball ability.

He went back to OKC but I don't think did much there either before suffering another injury.

1st pick is in

day 1-watch repeat

Siblings don't always align.
Seth and Steph Curry, loved Seth but not close.
Harvey and Horace Grant are twins but games weren't.
For that matter neither were Jose and Ozzie Canseco. Mark and Dan McGwire. Barry Bonds and Bobby Jr.

Jazz draft is high risk/high reward, yeesh. Every pick is a college underachiever with stratospheric potential.

guessing Klintman.
Hopeful guessing?

He's going to the Knicks, eh?

Traded for 3 future 2nd round picks.

If the OKC trade is correct, we have to wait till #52.
