Giannis was taken at pick 15 in a bad draft. Just have to draft right. Some players in this draft will be good. That was a better draft than this.
Ok. Washington and San Antonio definitely did. It negates any kind of dumb Karma talk. Such lazy thinking.Hawks didn’t tank.
Yep. And I don't hate it.Bright side. They will suck again next year and they saved Jody a few million.
That was a better draft than this.
Win? You mean make the playin and then get squashed? We need to try and win next year. Losing doesn't work.
They would rather get bounced in the play-in with a 33 year old (soon to be 34) point guard whose body is starting to fail due to father time.Once again, I've never heard FROM ANYONE on this board what options they would've chosen other than tank. Ya'll talk shit about Cronin non-stop and have no better ideas.
I don't see how today's results impact what we should be doing next year one way or the other... other than maybe that we're less likely to get a guy who can contribute right away, which means we should be less willing to try to win now.We need to try and win next year. Losing doesn't work.
That’s what Atlanta did and they got #1 pick.Win? You mean make the playin and then get squashed?
Don't re-sign Grant. Don't re-sign Thybulle. Get value for Brogdon. Get value for Williams. Take bad contracts on for draft value.Once again, I've never heard FROM ANYONE on this board what options they would've chosen other than tank. Ya'll talk shit about Cronin non-stop and have no better ideas.
No. We had a 7% chance of dropping to 7. That is not 1 in 6.I don't see how today's results impact what we should be doing next year one way or the other... other than maybe that we're less likely to get a guy who can contribute right away, which means we should be less willing to try to win now.
There was about a 1 in 6 chance of this happening today, and sometimes you're gonna have the breaks go against you.
And that shit does not happen very often. Percentages are real. Math is real. Math doesn't give a shit about "karma."That’s what Atlanta did and they got #1 pick.
Yeah if they do their homework and maybe even work out a deal they might pick up a player or two that can grow with the team.Yep. And I don't hate it.
The flattened lottery odds are throwing a very real wrench into this team building strategy. And that shit does not happen very often. Percentages are real. Math is real. Math doesn't give a shit about "karma."
I seriously don’t understand the people complaining about tanking. We weren’t good even when we played everyone. Meanwhile the Wolves and Thunder are in the second round after tanking for years. There’s a clear path to climbing out of mediocrity as a small market and it isn’t making the playin.
