At least last year I was excited to see what Brogdon and Williams would bring…

I'm totally fine with tanking. But usually the fun part of tanking seasons is getting to watch your young guys figure things out on the court. Tanking sucks if you watch G-League scrubs play all year because your young guys are injured.

I don’t think we’re coincidentally injured every year. We’ve milked injuries for years

I was not. They were never going to help us compete except for the draft capital they could bring in trade.

which has been nil

I was a Brogdon fan long before he was a blazer and knew we’d suck anyways

Remember on here when the self appointed experts of everything, used to blame our old athletic training staff for our injuries? Yeah, they all gone…..now who ya blaming?

The training staff still. We obviously didn't hire the right people...again lol.

If I'm not mistaken, it was a new staff after the Oden/Roy debacle, and they did quite well for several years and then were replaced? The current staff doesn't seem to be doing particularly well.

Do you know what his 3pt% was for last season? 29.9%.
But when we take a closer look, he improved almost every single month, except Feb where he shot 7% and killed his overall percentage for the season. But every other month he improved. If you drop Feb, he is a near mid 30’s% shooter already.

He shot 35% and 38% in the last two months of the season.
We just need him to be consistent 37-38 percent and i think he can hit that.

to verify...Jabari Walker:

are these weights correct?
Scoot lost some weight. I like that (196)
Simons continues to add a couple of lbs. I like that. (195)
Deni up to 240? Not sure how I feel about that. That is a big jump.

I find 215 for Jabari Walker hard to believe.

Deni's arms look huge. Much bigger than I was expecting. He's now listed at 240lbs. Dude is going to be a physical problem for most small forwards.

In other pictures this week, they look more normal.

I seriously doubt he'll be playing at 240. I'm skeptical that's his weight right now

Just to make it official…. @THE HCP is down to his lowest weight in 23 years. Still got along way to go. See pics of myself and I don’t see much difference (goes to show how heavy I was). Have had 4 or 5 people this summer ask me if I’ve lost a bunch of weight. That and my clothes fitting different is a pretty good feeling. Didn’t become Big John really until the kids were born. Nowhere near happy, so gonna keep grinding.

That was my recollection as well

I think we understand your longevity, you did not take advice from the previous Blazers athletic trainers.

Honestly, good on you for getting in better shape.

If you are happy, I am happy. This is fantastic news. The anti Mike Barrett post for the win. Still not enough to get my first like though.
