Says the guy who spent every waking hour trying to convince the board for a month that they shouldn't have interest in the draft because everyone sucks.

Sure thing, buddy.
This PAST draft? It DID suck….. and I spent a YEAR, not just a month.
If you want to get excited about a draft, NOW is the time.
But shit we got a champion level player, we’re good right?

How’d the top 5 players do in summer league, draft expert? I’ll wait.

Insecurity always screams loudest. Thank you for exemplifying that today.

man, if Jabari can develop a consistent 3pt shot, he may be the power forward we need to start next to Deni and Ayton.
I really like his game of hustle, rebounding, doing the little things.
I think he might be my dark horse to pop into a solid role player, possible starter this season.

Scoot/Sharpe/Deni/Walker/Ayton is a great balance and with the ability to swap Camara/Klingon/Rupert in to provide serious D off the bench, if we could get Ant to join them, he would get all the usage he nedds and be surrounded by guys who can defend.
If Ant would just come off the bench, i think the balance of this roster is going to make us much better than many predict.
Trade Grant for whatever we can get(within reason, not giving him away)by the trade deadline and im happy letting the roster ride out the season to see just what we have and if it fits on the court like it looks to fit on paper.

True, but I'm pretty sure that ain't it. All kinds of wobbling going on and he kind of staggers forward as he launches it. Actually nobody there looks that great, but I guess they go in in practice.

Do you know what his 3pt% was for last season?
29.9%.
But when we take a closer look, he improved almost every single month, except feb where he shot 7% and killed his overall percentage for the season. But every other month he improved. If you give feb season average 29.9%, he is a near mid 30’s% shooter already.
He shot 35% aNd 38% in the last two months of the season.
We just need him to be consistent 37-38 percent and i think he can hit that.

Jabari one big strength was rebounding, which he did as a small ball 5 or in lineups along with the horrible rebounding Grant.

He doesn't provide much on offense, his shooting is probably his best attribute and as you said thats at 29.9%. He has poor mobility and can't create his own shot. Passing is below average. His defense while maybe not being horrible isn't very strong either.

With better center depth and Deni providing much better rebounding at forward I just don't see the point in having Jabari on this squad. I'd honestly look at cutting him if we could free up that roster spot for a G League prospect.

If not then fine keep him as the 14th man - but he shouldn't be in the regular rotation of a team trying to win even just 24 games.

This roster is so devoid of talent it seems people just look hard at mediocrity and start to see something that isn't there.

He brings hustle board points though. Little things that are not in the box.

Hard disagree on most of that. Not every player needs to provide much on offense. most champion teams have one guy in starting lineup that does the little things and provides little offense.
Its about a balanced roster and him bringing the little things that make it all work.
