Staying in downtown Detroit this year. Small little area about a mile away from the arena. Actually looks like they are turning it around a bit. Turned some old abandoned building and lots into a new hotel and some shops, bars, restaurants. Good to see. Was going to go out for a walk last night and the doormen and bell hops said, “HEEEELLLLL NO!”
Said it wasn’t safe. So door dashed it instead.

Did venture out to a Starbucks right downtown. It’s just so strange how empty this city is. Nobody around.
