Way too sloppy tonight. Too bad Shaedon didn't make that shot because he was really the only guy who had a good night.

The Wizards shot lights out but that's no excuse. We have to win these games against bad teams.

He's no closer

This team really makes being a fan difficult.

Really gave that one away.

Jrue 2-14. Ouch.

Donovan 6-17. Ugh.

Deni 6-14 and 2-6 from the line. Blech.

Caleb and Sidy 2-11. Gag.

20 turnovers. 10 missed FTs. Only 18 assists on 42 makes.

Again, I'm not getting too upset, because being in the lottery this year is not a bad thing, this team is much better this year than last year, so it's still playing with house money.

Rayan played well. Shaedon was really good once he got going. Yang played well. Clingan rebounded well. Toumani has kind of rediscovered his defense and had become a player you can pretty much count on for 16 ppg.

I won’t get excited about Clingan’s offensive rebounding until he can turn them into points. Awful at the rim.

He too often gets outworked by smaller dudes. Maybe he just doesn't know how or have the confidence to use his size and strength yet or maybe he just has bad hands.

Looks like Sarr had a Wilt-like game. Did anyone try to guard him

worst loss of the season
It was down there. I'd still say the loss to the starless Lakers or the Spurs when we could have gotten into the tournament were worse. Plus, I think both of those were at home. This was on the road, on the second game of a back-to-back, no Timelord, Jrue trying to play two games in less than 24 hours. Deni's first game back after sitting with his recurring back issue, got in to D.C. at 4 a.m., the whole city is covered in snow and ice. Bad loss but a lot easier to understand than those two against the West teams.

This was worse. Worst team in the league, missing a lot of their good players.

Honestly you’re going to have some games like the last two. I don’t get to high or to low on losses and wins. Disappointing loss but was really tough travel night, guys in and out of lineup with minute restrictions. Loss sucks but in the end we’ve had more good wins than bad losses.

If Jrue and Grant hadn't played, we might have won. Or, if we could MAKE A FUCKING FREE THROW.

He didn't have a great game. He scored 29 points on 29 shots. We defended him well.
I'd say the eight blocks/steals to go along with the 29 points makes it pretty close to a great game. Twelve boards, too, including six on offense.

Sorry, the question I was answering was did anyone guard him and compared him to Wilt. So was he really good everywhere besides shooting efficiency? Yeah but we defended him well and he definitely was not Wilt tonight.

Sometimes a team is beaten by a clearly better team.
Sometimes it comes down to unlucky bounce or miracle shit because shit happens.
Sometimes a team plays like shit. They are professionals. No excuses for this many missed free throws and turnovers.
I am pissed. As soon as sports world noticed Blazers are playing well they start playing like shit.

You'll all look funny when the Blazers lose in the play-in and win the #1 pick in the draft!

I go back to the inauguration season and for many years there was head coach and assistant coach or two, team trainer, and maybe a video guy. I look at how many assistant's now at least 10 or so? Do they have an impact on player development or coaching? Oh well, Im a less is best guy, for the most part.

Right. i wonder sometimes. I see so many different coaches in a player's ear. How does the head coach ensure the players are getting a consistent message and one that he is comfortable with?
