I won’t get excited about Clingan’s offensive rebounding until he can turn them into points. Awful at the rim.

His rebounds were off his own terrible misses. Awful game by him.

Honestly you’re going to have some games like the last two. I don’t get to high or to low on losses and wins. Disappointing loss but was really tough travel night, guys in and out of lineup with minute restrictions. Loss sucks but in the end we’ve had more good wins than bad losses.

The sky is falling posts is funny af in here, especially from the mods lol. Yes it was a bad loss, but bad losses and great wins are part of a long NBA season.

No what’s funny is unexpected expectations. Say it all the time obviously. This isn’t a good team, but just because they wear the uniform people expect them to win games when sometimes it isn’t meant to be. I told you homies we got to the hotel at 4am! That wasn’t brought up once in the thread. That shit has an effect/affect on play. These aren’t excuses, these are what we call checkable facts FAMS!

My favorite teams of all time were the Roy, Aldridge, Blake, Outlaw, Webster, Joel P teams. We didn't win much at first but damn were they exciting.

I already dont have those expectations and it still isnt worth tuning in for lol.

If the team isnt contending, its not worth watching. The last 6 years have been worthless so I put more worth into actual things. No ragrets.

There can be a clear line between good team and contender. Those two things don't have to mean the same thing.

I was just making a comment since some people think we don't need more talent to be a contender (very likely false) and others say we aren't a good team. It definitely had some sarcasm.

I think we have potential and depth and some great pieces, but we are one big move away from being a potential contender.

I always want them to win, and almost always believe they are going to win. That's my path...and I glean a hell of a lot of enjoyment out of it. I never expect anything as far as the teams performance. Why should I? I have zero control over it.

I have only one expectation.....to enjoy watching my team play. Because of that, I am rarely disappointed. On another note, I said to my wife just before last nights game, this will be double tough. They slept good in their beds, we did not. They are starting to figure themselves out, we are covered in bandages. Truth is, a win last night would have really surprised me.

As much as getting a W last night would have surprised me, getting one against the Knickerbockers would blow my pants off. As much as I have been eating lately...that's not an easy thing to do.

I think we're good enough right now to have a reasonable hope that we will be able to beat any team in the league on any given night and we're bad enough that we shouldn't be surprised by any loss.

I will say last night was a little disappointing because I think we have the better team between us and the Wizards. That said, second night of a back to back and hearing when you guys got into Washington made it more understandable.
