This team is fun to watch when it's playing well. I don't just mean winning ... it's just a far more exciting style of play when it's attacking on offense and defense and cutting and moving without the ball, more so than Mo Cheeks and Nate McMillan's teams were when they were having good games, and even maybe more than Stotts, whose teams were largely built on the excitement of two exceptional scorers going off.
We got that for the first half.
Then the second half we got the Blazers that just stand with two guys in the corner, two on the foul-line extended and one at the point and live off one guy dominating the ball and hopefully drawing an extra defender so they can pass the ball somewhere. When we do that, we're awful.
But the Nets are the worst team in the league, so even a bad half wasn't enough to make the game close.
