I just want to see the effort we've seen in all of the games this season except the last one. Just bring that intensity and no matter how many points we lose by I'll be happy.

this will be the 3rd time this season when the Blazers have faced a team playing on the 2nd night of a back-to-back. I wonder if that 'stat' is tracked anywhere?

This is an L even if they rest SGA or Dort. It's why we should beat the teams we suppose to beat like the last game (Lakers) as we are not winning this game. Blazers please prove me wrong.

I’m just not sure there are many teams that I feel the Blazers should beat. Certainly not in the Western Conference.

right now there may be 6 in the WC:

Utah
Memphis
Phoenix
Dallas
Sacramento
New Orleans

that's at Moda obviously....but on the road? maybe 3 teams, or 2 teams?. Memphis and Sacramento should be better than they are. Kings have had a hard schedule so far. According to BBREF the Kings have had the hardest schedule and Portland the 2nd hardest. But BBREF's SOS does not gauge according to home/road games. Kings have had 5 of 7 games on the road; Blazers have had 4 of 7 at home

Not sure if it’s on here or not, but no Dort/Caruso/Chet tonight it looks like.
Just means our guys have a better chance of staying the fight, still a long shot to win but for now I'm just excited to see competitive ball.

I just looked at the rosters and I did not see this guy. Did the Thunder trade for him?
There aint shit that can be done. Whats done is done. There isn't a single person here who doesn't know exactly what we did in the draft and how it is going. Trolls will troll. Notice how dude hangs out in game threads all night if we are losing, but disappears if we win? Check the Denver thread. 😂

I think we win this and hand OKC their first loss. They have alot of players out, second night of a back to back and I'm pretty sure the Blazers are hungry to avenge that lackluster game against the fakers. I think we come out with that killer we didn't have last game.

Let's be hopeful, but stay humble.

so then, in a 2 game stretch the Blazers will have dodged Luca Doncic, Lebron James, Austin Reaves, Gabe Vincent; Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Luguentz Dort, Alex Caruso....That's a lot of talent dodging over 96 minutes. Be pretty ironic if the Blazers lost to LAL but beat OKC

Luckily the Thunder are playing with the reigning MVP so this isn't the same kind of trap game that the last one was. That being said I think even without the guys OKC is missing that they still should be the favorite but not by a landslide.

I am hoping for a close and competitive game and even though OKC should still be considered the favorite I think there's an outside shot that we could give them their first loss... which would be cool.

OKC's 2 best perimeter defenders are out, Dort and Caruso. I'd like to think that would result in some open shots. But as we know, the Blazers are quite capable of bricking open shots, over and over
