Are you the same person on here who keeps saying this? I forget I’ve explained this like 10 times. Sorry if it’s not you. That’s not how it works. The games don’t need to be nationally televised for China to see them. They can just get our feed every game and see their boy.

not me and yeah that makes sense but it’s also large contingent of Chinese who live in USA.

Here it comes……..

When we look at the schedule for the season, it reminds me of a couple of things. One is that almost every game will be tough to win, and two........there will be plenty of minutes to go around for the top 10 players. Every season is long and grueling.

If ESPN has it correct we'll have 6 games on NBC/Peacock, 1 game on just Peacock, 1 game on Amazon Prime Video and 0 games on ESPN or ABC.

8 Games where people could check us out nation wide without League Pass.

0-8 start
I think there is a good chance that we beat the Jazz but yeah that's a pretty brutal start to the season. I wouldn't be shocked if we were 1-7... that's what I'd predict but the Jazz could beat us to put us at 0-8. Hopefully we beat a team or two early on that are better than us and can start 2-6.

We better hope we're better than the Jazz. Shit if we aren't we won't win 30 games this season. Looking at the schedule we're going to need Shaedon, Scoot, Tou, Deni and Clingan to take big steps forward, we're going to need Jrue and Jerami to return to where they were playing before last season and we're either going to need Rob to play most of the season or Yang to be an all-rookie level contributor.

That's a lot of shit breaking the right way for us and I think that's just what we'll need to get into the play-in at around 41 wins. To get into the playoffs some of those steps forward for our young guys will have to be huge, like going from where they were to all star level play.

Blazers in 6 primetime Tuesday night games on NBC this season including Flagg vs Yang. Crazy that NBC is airing games in prime time in lieu of scripted programming. Blazers will be getting their biggest audience since Game 7 vs Nuggets in 2019. Wild. We also have one game on Amazon. The Blazers matter again.

I only see one team in the first 8 games that is clearly better than us: OKC.

Am I reading it wrong, or are there a few 8pm starts in Portland this year??

The Broadway Bridge is going to be closed for the next 6 months, later game starts is going to help traffic in the area.
