We may have shed Simons and DA this offseason but as long as Grant is still here, we’re being held back ultimately.

Not sure if he's hurt but poor Ant didn't play one minute in Boston's game

DA was a -25 for the Lakers his first game. Shot terribly from the field.
 
I love that the season as, in essence, started...but Im already bored with this game.
 
GS literally has a cryer on their team
 
A really impressive 23 minutes from Shaedon tonight. He stood out as the best offensive weapon that we have. Everyone looks amazing on defense. I really wish we had a switchable big that could stay healthy. To have our number one and number two Cs be drop coverage takes a little bit of the potency out of our aggressive D.
 
So glad we don't have Ayton here. Yang fumbling around was 100x more enjoyable to watch.

Jrue played well and totally fits into whatever the team needs.

Grant provides little on defense and forces bad shots on offense. Not even convinced he deserves to be in the rotation. Will be a total farce if he starts over any of Sharpe, Camara, Deni.

I'm seriously wondering if we should consider buying out Grant. If he'd give us back 30 mil and we pay him 70 to go away I'd consider it. No way this guy is tradeable for years.
 
Reath really is a liability over too many minutes
 
I think we continue to see why Duop isn't ahead of Yang in the rotation.

Worst contract I’ve seen in a long time.

Grant is being paid about double what he’s arguably worth. Even DA was more clearly of value on the court

Legit question, if we go small or play a switching center we basically are getting complete 0 from two lottery picks. Those were the return of half of the last 4 years of our tank fest.
 
I know it’s preseason but this game has been really fun to watch so far. Sharp is making it look effortless, Toumani looks like a different player offensively and the point guard play has been enjoyable to see. The defense has been refreshing as well. The hope is back for this fan!

Prolly too early to say but I'd say Center is our weakest link.

Reath, shows why is spends much of his time on the bench
Williams - great when healthy but when is he ever healthy for more than 10 minutes?

I'm kinda thinking we'll see some small-ball at times.

I think Yang will take about half the season to show his value.
