Prince? sure. Battier? sure again

Pippen? no. Pippen ran the offense of a 6 time NBA champion. Camara will not develop that component of his game that much. He may become a decent secondary facilitator...may....but he won't be the primary initiator. It's also worth noting that Pippen was a 7-time All-NBA player, including 3 first team selections; and an 11-time All-Defense player including 9 first team selections

I wouldn't put much into a single pre-season game, considering it's his first game we've seen of him against actual NBA talent.

I was very cautiously optimistic coming into the game but wondered how he would look against NBA talent. He is looking pretty bad against 3rd string/g-leaguers.

It is actually seeing him against NBA or NBA wanna-be talent that lowers my hopes.
 
Well at least they looked good for 3 quarters until the scrubs came in.

I would just like to see us have the option. I don't think both Clingan and Yang make a lot of sense long term. I don't think they make sense especially with Chauncey running this kind of defense he is but just in today's NBA you need to have a switchable C in your rotation.

I think when we start making the playoffs having two heavy footed legit old school bigs in the rotation will be a liability. We have time before that's a problem and I do think old school bigs still do have a lot of value in the league, so we should be able to recoup the value of one of the picks we spent in a trade.

It would be cool if our team had the ability to dictate mismatches and not the other way around.

The regular playing rotation looked good. Just one game, so we'll see how that carries over.

I'm ready to cut Caleb Love, though. He doesn't understand the game and is the one guy who doesn't fit what we're doing in any way whatsoever. Every time I see him in the game, I want to scream.

The thing I noticed is Billups can’t even really coach him in the game.
There needs to be a translator in the middle and that tells me his improvement will come very slow.

Our rotation players beat theirs, that's all that matters in pre-season. Our starters can leave SF with their heads held high.

I would think that a lot of our end of bench guys might feel iffy about their spots on the roster.
 
Maybe Grant will take a buyout if we only play him 12 min a game for the first couple weeks.
 
Just as winning by 21 wouldn't have meant anything, losing that lead and losing doesn't mean anything either.

Actually, that's not true. It means that the 3rd stringers on this team are atrocious.
