Not sure why Chauncey don't even run a high post play for Yang like Jokic and make him a playmaker. You have a big man that can pass so why not use him

It seems to me like they have. But yes, it wouldn't hurt to do more of it. I am sure they will

Maybe I’m an idiot but I was happy to be rid of Jermaine when we traded him. We were trying to win a ring and he always looked like shit when we played him. Davis was an All Star. Oh well.

Rewatching the big run, it's always amazing to me how long Clingan's arms are. He could play piano on the sidelines with his feet in the key. And god I love his attitude on the court. He's mad about everything all the time and takes it out on the opponent. Red Ass Jr.

I think Murray is playing great, he doesn't look like he's overthinking the game and he's rebounding, getting 3 steals tonight, just playing solid. When Scoot and Matisse and Rob Will get back, we'll look a lot better. Grant has played well, I wanted him traded but he's not an issue and if we did trade him he's gaining in value so maybe some team will want him at the deadline. Clingan said Murray is his best friend on the team and a guy he connects well with on and off the court.

Looks like Yang can start his offense (which could mean passing the ball) from anywhere on the court. But he can't do it without the ball in his hands.

I didn't realize we had that many missing. We did pretty well, all things considered.

so far, in 3 pre-season games he's had 3 assists....and 8 turnovers. In summer league, he had 15 assists and 15 turnovers.

it may be that Yang, exposed in the high post to the hands and deflections from roaming perimeter defenders would be a turnover machine. He looks like a big man project to me, a little more developed than many, but I don't think he's anywhere close to being an effective hub in the offense

Yeah he has really bright flashes, but he gets tired fast and started cutting corners later in the game. Give him a couple years before to catch up to the speed of the NBA before you ask him to also run the offense.

If we can't get our players to cut with Yang on the floor, I'm gonna give up on this coaching staff.
Right now Shaedon is 37% from three during the preseason, if he can stay right around there and if Tou shoots like he did last season or better that should keep the defense from sagging off of those two and when defenses play those guys tight on the perimeter that's when they'll start back cutting. Deni is probably the same story. Jrue and Scoot will likely be the same story.

The problem right now is they're just getting into this new offense but I think once they're moving a ton without the ball and hitting their outside shots the cutting will start happening.

I'm excited about this season. The west is really stacked so we probably won't win a ton more games than last season but I'm confident we're going to see way better basketball being played by all of our guys, on both ends of the court.

And here we go again. We are NOT broadcasting the Jazz game. I’ll just leave it at that.

He has another pair just like it, but opposite.

I think the only way is to sneak up on them. And beating them in the preseason would not help.....when we play them in game 2

I'm going to this game and I'm hoping my attendance luck will hold. That's all I'll say because I don't want to jinx it. The wife and I are going on a little weekend getaway after, so win or lose, the weekend will still be a big win! But yes, I want the Blazers to pound the Warriors like there's no tomorrow come Oct. 24th!!! All the Warriors should be walkin' funny after this game and taking the morning after pill and getting STI antibiotics!!!!

I haven't seen us doing much cutting at all pre-season, even though Billups is always emphasizing it in practice.
I agree but I do think there has been added movement. More off the ball screens to help players get to their spots and especially in this game a lot less just standing in the corners. Hopefully the added movement does start to equal a lot more cuts to the rim with easy finishes. This offense is still new to our roster.

I also think they are doing a better job at least this preseason of pushing the ball in both the primary and secondary break. They also seem to be getting into their actions quicker. I think the team getting into their actions quicker might just be a function of having Jrue and Blake in there for Ant. At the same time I think all of the guys get credit for running the break more often.

May I ask how you are rewatching?
