I still have Dybantsa a little ahead of Peterson, but I'd love to have either on my team. Both have superstar potential.

I saw someone compare Peterson to a less-athletic Kobe. I see some Brandon Roy when I watch him play. Interestingly, reading about Peterson now that he patterns his game after Dame and Doncic.

One player that could be a real wild card in this draft is Gilbert Arenas' son, Alijah. He's bigger than his dad, like 6-6. He was expected to be a top-10 pick and reclassified to enter college this year. Then he tore up his knee and had to be put in a medically-induced coma after a car accident over the summer.

If the medicals are OK, he is another that has the chance to be special. The bad thing about that is, if he enters this draft, the Thunder with potential multiple lottery picks again would be in an ideal position to use one on a lottery ticket that Arenas would be.

Looks really good on offense and he's gotta be cuz probably a big liability on D.

Ebuka Okorie at Stanford has been the biggest surprise freshman for me so far....

He's going have to improve his at-rim decisions vs better competition, but the handle creativity and burst are special.

Not a super advanced passer, but turning it over at the it unbelievably low rate for how much he's asked to do offensively.

Been pretty solid defensively. Really active hands, good chasing through screens but not always in a stance and can get caught overextended on the perimeter.

Too early to say if he comes out since he'll have to continue to be special at his size to really convince NBA teams he's worth a top 20 pick, but a guy to watch for sure.

Projects to be a backup in the NBA but has the intangibles/IQ to be a very solid 6th/7th man on a playoff team (ceiling).

I used to get so into the draft. Can’t get excited about it anymore. If they want to tank, they’ll mess that up again. I assume they’ll overthink their pick again like last year. What a waste. I still don’t know the direction or strategy of the team, if they are trying to win or not, go young or not, or what they want to do. They don’t have a single untouchable player after lottery picks over and over. Their 2 best guards are a combined 70 years old. They have excess Centers, and their most recent lotto center is a non factor. But yay China eyeballs on televisions. Their coaching situation is literally unprecedented and we have no idea what the plan is going forward while they are desperately needing to develop guys and implement their system. I would love to get into the draft again, but my expectations are very low.

As far as guards go, aside from Peterson, Mikel Brown is the next best prospect.

An early riser: Hannes Steinbach

This draft is DEEP.

Steinbach has been a monster so far.

He could creep into the top 8.

Might be this year's Cedric Coward, in that sense.

I still say Yang will be a very good NBA player. I love bigs with high BBIQ. Honestly I think in year 3 maybe 4 he’ll be pushing Clingan for that starting role or starting role on another team.

There are things about his game that remind me of Durant and things about his game that remind me of Jayson Tatum. Dybantsa's from Massachusetts, so I wouldn't be shocked if he's patterned his game a bit off Tatum. He speaks very well in interviews, seems intelligent and seems to study the game.
