Yes, with quotes like
"Didn't Grant used to be good?"
And
"Grant is a fucking bum"
You're right!
At least we're in it. Hopefully we can do a better job in the second half with guys getting in the paint besides Deni, challenging Wemby and seeing if we can get him to commit more fouls.
He also played defense. Couple tipped balls. He did have a loose handle a couple times but he certainly is not the reason they are down. 5-20 from three on a bunch of wide open looks is whats happening.Well for a veteran who makes $35 million a year, should we not expect more out him? Then turnovers and fouls. He did hit one three, that's great, but he has effected this team negatively.

Yeesh, Grant. I can't imagine him having a worse half. First, he ruined the offensive flow by insisting on thinking he was Kobe and trying (unsuccessfully) to break down his defender on three straight possessions while forgetting his teammates that allowed the Spurs to get a little separation on the scoreboard, then he was everywhere but where he should be on defense, then he's throwing the ball away.
Other than that, the Spurs couldn't play much better than they did. We couldn't play much worse. And it's only a 10-point difference.
so far, there's just too big a gap between Deni and the rest of his teammates. Nobody can pick up the slack.
The next time Wemby falls on one of our players, someone on the Blazers needs to get a technical if he isn't called for a foul.
That BS needs to be called out.
I have not posted in almost 45 minutes give or take and we are at halftime and the Blazers are lucky to only be down by 10.
The only player to show up tonight is Deni
The Blazers cannot rebound , block out , defend , shoot , run a good offense or defense but let's blame the refs. Now I will give you the refs do make it tougher at times for the Blazers but good teams find a way past that for the most part. Also why are we not letting Williams or DC man up Wemby cause worst that can happen is they get in foul trouble but maybe getting physical with him might work if not the bigs maybe someone like Sidy who if he fouls out WHO the fuck cares. Maybe it will tire him out or something but instead we want to put midgets on him and then wonder why he makes them look stupid. I mean Splitter is a big man who should get this but for some reason he has not even tried and DC only has one foul and Williams none so it could not hurt.
I will be curious to see what adjustments Tiago makes cause this for me will tell me if he is the right guy for the job. I am not looking for a miracle just some solid coaching adjustments that might make a difference.
We need Sharp to be sharp in this series to be competitive. He needs to be hitting threes getting to the basket playing defense to have a second offense option. Otherwise this can be 4 games and done.
Been saying that all seasonYeah, it's frustrating that a coach who was a center in the NBA cannot grasp playing his centers in the paint on both ends.
