There were two Blazers who won their minutes on the floor. Timelord (natch) who was +3 in 26 minutes, and... Shaedon, who was +5 in 13.
Coincidentally, they're two of the three players who were in the positive over the previous three games. (The other one was Scoot, who managed to undo all the positive chatter about him not being a bust in 27 scoreless minutes.)

Rob has disappeared in the last two second halves.

Look - it's not really the Blazers' fault that San Antonio lucked into Wemby AND Castle AND Harper, is it? And once that happened, we were basically fucked for a generation, along with at least 27 other teams.

We were always fucked. We are perpetually fucked. Fucked is an inevitability for this franchise.

We just seem to get to the "ok, maybe we need to slow it down, call a TO, discuss n run some specific plays" point as we watch the boat sailing out the harbor.
we just get into this panicked n desperate pressure zone where we fumble n turnover everything and think hero-ball is option A thru Z.
we lack composure, fortitude, and the game basics when it really matters.

Spurs now have the largest win in the history of the NBA playoffs by a team that trailed by 15 at half time.

WE MADE IT!!!!! WE IN THE RECORDS BOOKS!!!!!
Hey, at least we weren't 15 up in the fourth quarter of a game seven of a WCF against a team we loathe above all others...

It’s going to be interesting to see how SA manages their cap once those guys come up for their second contracts. Going to be tough for the rest of the league for at least a few years though.

I know you're just being funny but in all seriousness 2 straight home court 30+ point swing losses is a damn close second.

On the other hand, I really can't see Wemby lasting more than about ten good years. That height and the force of landing just aren't a good combination.

Well I feel like a majority of the forum wanted us to make the playoff to “gain some experience”…..well that is what they are doing right? Nobody here actually thought we’d win this series right? Experience is being gained. I can understand the frustration, but this is what you asked for.
I just wish we saw a little more fight in the second half but other than that, this is the expected outcome.

Nice that we got one win. I'm really hoping the guys can show some fight in San Antonio but I'll be surprised if we can put together another half like the first half of this game.

Clingan took 6 three pointers and only 4 two pointers. I think other teams will live with the blazer center shooting 3’s especially the way he has been shooting them in the playoffs. He should be down in the paint and getting second chance points. If he can’t do that need a upgrade at center.

Here's something I'm going to get torched for suggesting: maybe Deni ain't the guy? I mean, the one game he was basically incapacitated is the one we win. I mean, it might not be his fault, because whenever he plays we tend to lapse into giving him the ball and just have him try to make something happen, but... maybe he's more Corey Magette than Luka Doncic?

so far, in this series, Clingan has taken 35 shots; 18 of them have been three's; more than half; the best offensive rebounder in the NBA has been parked out near the 3 point line.

IMO, Splitter could be fired for that....among other things
