I’m sure not paying for putting on Game 6 is worth the fans nearly booing the team in the 4th today. I dunno why our intensity dropped to preseason levels. We didn’t full court press once. Maybe we’re just tired but that is its own worry.

I'd like to see Clingan at around 250lbs, at his size and weight he is just so ploddingly slow and unathletic, he barely jumps for anything, part of the is the height default feeding, but if he was more mobile we'd be a much different team. i mean, he may not have it either.

Myers was 260 and 7 foot, but he absolutely no game whatsoever other than his athleticism. A Myers with a bball brain would be great.

I actually am really growing to dislike Wemby and the entire Spurs franchise. It's their attitude.

Yeah, and they’re worse in person imho. Without Pop to keep the team humble they just feel like bullies. Like the villainous dojo in The Karate Kid, because basketball is ultimately just a sport like any other. But there is an arrogance that smacks of F1. Which more power to them if that’s the winning attitude so be it.

I think Blazer fans have every right to be livid. We just tanked for years only to find out this wasnt about playoff experience but instead needing to make multiple major moves. And from a team that has been to one WCF and no finals appearances in over 30 years.

Anybody who knows the game of basketball has NO reason to be “livid”! No way in hell anybody in their right minds thought we had a chance to win this series. Go somewhere son.

I never said anything about winning. I'm talking about the way we played, scoring droughts and 30+ point swings - at home. I didn't expect us to win. But I sure as hell didn't expect losing games that we had a great chance to win in horrible fashion. I've been a Blazers fan for a long time (40+ years), been on this board a long time and I know enough about basketball to see what happened so I'm not sure why you felt the need to question my basketball knowledge over extremely valid complaints. You may have expected us to lose (as did I) but if those games didn't frustrate you then I dont know what to say. My poor choice of words in using “livid“ doesn't change how they played.

He should NOT have been out there today. Spurs are unbelievably greedy and shortsighted. They were up 2-1 in a very winnable series and rushed him back. If he was in the NFL he would have been out for 14 to 21 days maybe longer. Foolish and greedy of the Spurs/NBA to have him play. Wemby is too young probably to know better.

Agreed he looked more wacky inflatable tube man than usual, but imo the way he responded made it sound like he wanted to play in game 3 but couldnt because of the NBA docs and he kept refering to the spurs doctors not being the issue, no one can force him to play if he thinks he's still off so i Dont think him playing today was his gripe, i think it was him not playing in game 3.
