Hopefully in four years politics won't intrude and we will have a normal president who simply congratulates the athletes and thanks the host country. So we can all just talk about the games.

Before we close for four years, how about a shout out to the team that medaled in eight consecutive Olympics, three gold, four silver, and a bronze, always competed their hearts out and still behaved with class and grace. Gold medalist US women's Olympic hockey team.
