Rockets are hot. Gotta win this one. Suns are sneaking up on us too. Good thing we beat them three times this year.

question mockers. when do the games get important? we are 1 and a half games ahead of the suns for 8th place. guess what? that means no playoffs! starting to get it? you lose games to houston and atlanta at home and playoffs become very unlikely. good teams like denver beat the hawks at home. we make excuse following home losses. right now the money excuse is gelling. will that be the excuse if we miss the playoffs? then blazer fans can scream their 2 favorite words... "NEXT YEAR"

I thought YOU were a Blazer fan? Denver caught Atl in one of the 3 toughest back to backs in the league. Anything Portland to Utah/ Denver/Phoenix is brutal. They git to their hotel after our game at probably 3 AM.

All the games are important. Games against teams with which you're directly jockeying for playoff position are slightly moreso, only because they provide the opportunity to bestow a loss on said team.

I view this game as slightly more important than the Atlanta game. I viewed the Denver game as slightly more important than the LA game. If we win tonight, then I will say that we won the two most important of the first four games after the all-star break.

However, until we get down to the last week of the season, I will not be sharing your opinion that any one game will turn the season.

Vegas had us favored by 5 over Atlanta. What Vegas thinks is irrelevant in terms of what actually happens on the court.

Roy isn't playing on BTBs. Rudy is just sick with a virus. I think he'll be back by tomorrow.
 
I guess the question with Rudy is, will we miss him? When you go like 0 per a bazillion, we may not miss him. But if it was going to be a game where he got hot, we probably would. So, we will never know.

Sorry--mis-read the Roy note, thought it said he was out tonight. OK 7 rotation players. Should be just enough to prevent Nate from having to make any actual decisions. :devilwink:
