and like my history professor have said that it was impossible for spartans to go to battle with their chests unprotected. who cares, girls (and i think some guys) liked the movie and cared least about historical accuracy

I personally thought the movie rocked. One of my favorites from 2007 and I bought the DVD the day it came out.

It was a very stylish movie but the plot was pretty weak. I'd give it a 7 or something like that.

Honestly, did you expect much plot from this movie? I didn't. The story, while pretty weak, was good enough. The acting was very solid as well, and the filmmaking was brilliant. Most importantly though, the movie was entertaining, and that's what it's all about.

Dumb fun movie. Looking at it from a historical perspective is pointless.

I loved how history professors all over the world simultaneously had aneurysms while trying to deal with the inaccuracies in that film.

It was an enjoyable movie, because it didn't have any pretense about what it was.

I really liked this movie. Movies like this and the DaVinci Code are great because you the "experts" will have fits & its easy programming for the History Channel, etc...

Same here. I like watching the movies, and then finding out the truth behind what these movies are extremely loosely based on.
