I don't know what the forwards were doing there. Forgot that it was 4 on 4. Nash watched Methot as well.

I'm ok with that. Let them be stupid. They probably rushed into the review because the Rangers didn't take a lot of time celebrating and went right back out there. Curious if Anderson gets pulled if we score again or to start the 3rd.
 
Yeah this coach is an idiot for wasting a timeout on this. I guess some coaches don't give a shit about timeouts.

I missed the first period, lawn mower problems, but second period rangers looked like the much better team...rangers in 5 lol

Kudos to AV for the line shake ups to start the second. 5 on 5 they looked much much better this period. Inexcusable to lose Methot on that OTT goal but I'm much happier than I was after the first 20

Definitely. They played much more north-south that period then the first. Also amazing to see how we can control this game when the refs don't give Ottawa 3 PPs in 10 minutes.
 
The ref's mic picked up Karlsson, he wanted a slash call and he had an argument. Hit was clearly clean.
 
Couple breakdowns but that's our best period of the playoffs boys

McD destroyed Karlsson into the boards on a clean hit. He's on one leg keep hitting him

Most importantly the Americans have arrived at least Step and Kreider.

Keep attacking Anderson looks vulnerable now
 
That said, no sympathy from me given that these refs have noticed every little thing that's happened. Meanwhile last series our guys were pretty much getting murdered.

2 goal lead, refs aside this is on us to put it away.

yeah 5 on 5 was much better because he finally cut down minutes of hayes and miller. Took zucc to get that asswipe Kreider going.
 
Solid period. Still need to be more disciplined, but outside of that and the one 4 on 4 breakdown by Skjei and the forwards, that was a strong period. Good to see.

And yes credit to AV for making the line changes he did, sparked the team.

Once again...we are the clearly better team. We simply need to play smart hockey and be strong on the puck and we'll win this series.

Big 3rd period. Please let's play for a while with a 2 goal lead. No early Ottawa goals and we'll be okay.

I said it yesterday, winner of this game wins the series I believe.
 
Keep it going against Karlsson. He's hurting and clearly doesn't want to be hit at all.

Yep. 5 v 5 we are heads and shoulders better IF WE KEEP ATTACKING. We can't let Ottawa set up their trap in the neutral zone. We can't pass the puck backwards and side to side if we can push it forward. Keep Ottawa uncomfortable and score 6!!!!!

chuck, you also said that the winner of game 3 of last series will win the series. How did that turn out?
 
I don't really fault Skjei on the goal..yeah he got beat around the edge but every now and then guys are going to get beat. Wasn't a mental mistake. Hoffman can skate.

Losing Methot 4v4 though..can't happen. That guy takes an hour to get down the ice.
