1.). Maynor: I think with a full training camp and season; maynor will be a great addition to this ball club. I do understand that the QO is pretty steep, but I believe the end scenario will be enough for us to get all players.
2.) JJ Redick: this is the guy that can immediately improve this ball club. He isn't a great defender; but one of the best shooters. He handles the ball well; plus he can create his own shot. What he's really good at is creating spacing and able to punish teams that gamble off him. I would live to use him as the entry passer to Aldridge on the block.
3.) Dalambert: this guy is a 15-20 minute player that has starter capabilities. He is a post defender and able to protect the paint. He's got back to the basket scoring and sets very good picks. He would be a short term solution for the blazers at center; but I think we want a developed Leonard to start eventually.
4.) Jermaine Oneal: he still has the low post moves, back to the basket scoring and defends well. He is a great help defender and can play both pf and center. He would be a 10-15 minute player that can take more low block scoring loads off of Aldridge.
So how do we get all three players? It seems redick wants 10 mil; but I think 6-7 mil will be the offers he gets. Oneal will get around 800-1.2 million (vet min). Dalembert will get around 5-6 million. Maynor will probably get around 2.5-3 million. Add that all up and it's 13.8-17.2 million.
This is how I see it able to unfold.
1.) renounce hickson and maynor (agree before renouncing that we will resign him)
2.) offer redick 3 years; 21 million back loaded.
3.). Offer Dalambert 3 years; 18 million back loaded.
4.) resign Maynor 3 years; 9 million back loaded
5.) sign Jerm for vet minimum.
