It's always baffling to see how terrible LeBron James teams have been in the regular season going back even to his Heat days. What's strange is that he's had his best regular seasons with the Cavs when he had no all-star teammates.

The Mo Williams-LeBron Cavs were 60+ win teams. But couldn't do it in playoffs.

Shows you how much parity there is this year with us not even being a .600 team but still that high in the standings. We’ll have to show a lot of grit to keep it up.

Well, you do extra well in the regular season when you give a shit. LeBron hasn't had two shits to rub together about the regular season in a very, very long time.

I was never doom and gloom about the team like A LOT of folks were, but I can honestly say I didn't expect to be sitting in 3rd with 19 games left to go. The script usually calls for those top three seeds being locked up by now, but this season has forced everyone to throw away the script. All I can say is that if you really think about it, Portland's success should not be that surprising. We've been rebuilding while simultaneously making the playoffs - not an easy task. We've had the bedrock of an excellent team from the start of the rebuild, but the pieces of the puzzle weren't totally fitting. We're not 100% there yet, but you can start to make out the image.

Amazing to think that there are teams like Philly who are still struggling to make the playoffs and we didn't tank one single year.

They aren't really struggling to make the playoffs this year though.

I think The Process is gonna net them a championship in the future, especially if Fultz gets his head straight. Once their core gets seasoned watch out.

They are starting to look like a good team, years later. Simmons is insane, embiid is as well. Fultz is the real odd situation but if he can turn out how people thought he could when he comes back, that's a great big three

Also for perspective, we are a 3 game losing streak away from falling back out of the playoff picture which is crazy. Good news is, I think we could take any series in the west this year unless it's houston or golden state

If Simmons and Embiid stay fit, I think they will go to conference final within 3 to 4 years and make the NBA Finals either then or shortly after. If Fultz shows the same kind of promise in his first season next year as Simmons and Embiid had after their injuries then it could be even sooner. If on top of that LeBron joins them they will make finals next year.

Simmons and Embiid are an absolute joy to watch. Crazy to think that someone like Saric could even soon go to the bench.

I really want minny with a minute restricted butler(if he’s really back)

Some surprising numbers in the last 10 games column.

Of the top 5 everyone is 8-2 or better except Boston at 5-5??

Spurs at 2-8??
Proud to be a fan of the best team under 40 wins.

I guess Vonleh was really holding us back ! great move Neil !

In Chicago, Vonleh is playing 11 mpg getting 4.7 pts and 4.7 rebs on 55% shooting from the field and .375 from 3-pt range. It doesn't really apply here but per36, that is 15.38 points and rebounds per game on .625 eFG%.

Not bad.

That big Milocan Rakovich acquisition really paying dividends!

The point was, perhaps everyone settled down and had their minds more at ease knowing that they weren't moved and can finish the season together. Mind games can absolutely effect your play.

Maybe, but very possibly not. Each of their big 3 has significant injury histories. Moreso even than Roy and Oden, and they're both out of the league now.
