I use to do 100 situps routinely and more than that on occasion. Then, I got to the point where I had trouble doing 100. Then it was 50. I chalked it up to old age. Then they did a study when they were thinking about giving me an access point in my belly for doing peritoneal dialysis and they found a hernia. Doc said he would fix it in a jiffy while he was in there giving me my access port. I was gonna do it but my wife vetoed the whole project because she thought peritoneal dialysis involved too many difficult tasks. So, I now have a hernia with little hope of getting it repaired. Of course, I'm no longer capable of doing any activity that would interfere with a hernia, so that's that. Too bad, I figure from what I've heard that peritoneal dialysis would leave me with a lot more capability of having some physical activity in my life.
